Anything from Powerman 5000, Eminem, Mudvayne, Spineshank, ICP, Glitch Mob, etc for nights where I wanna blow **** up to nice and quiet evenings with Skyrim OST. Tribes 2's OST is good if you need something for mission running tempo, or if it suits you, Timothy Seals has some re-recorded MechWarrior 2 tracks for battletech fans.

Sometimes, though, it's better to just throw everything on and shuffle pick for you. I actually have a playlist saved on GOM that has pretty mush everything I have music wise and set to shuffle...best kind of radio station I ever had, all my favorites and no annoying half-hour long commercial breaks between tracks. Even better, I don't here the same song played out 82 times a day till you actually hate it just cause it's the "new song".
