Ishtar/VNI fits for Guristas anomalies

So I know there's been a ton of these topics but I couldn't find a recent one so here goes..

I was trying to run some anomalies in Guristas space in an armor-tanked, AB fit VNI with a medium repper and 79/79 kinetic/thermic resists and while it would clear all variants of Rally Point easily, hubs and above I was not able to tank.

I imagine an Ishtar would be better for this but even with close to 90/90 kin/therm resists it seems like a great deal of incoming DPS. Is an Ishtar capable of solo'ing every Guristas anom up to say, Forlorn Sanctums?

Passive shield with AB, armor AB; what's the best way to go here? I'd prefer to stick with T2 fitting or cheap bling so it won't hurt so much when this ship goes boom.

So what is the BEST Ishtar/VNI fit for running highest level Guristas anomalies, whilst keeping the price tag under 300M?

Passive shield Ishtar with 100mn AB.

Mids
2 LSE
100mn AB
and either 1 adaptive invul 2, or 2 Omni-directional with optimal range scripts.

Lows
1 DCU
2 DDAs
1 SPR

or

3 DDAs
1 SPR

Rigs
Medium Purgers

Highs

Scan Probe Launcher
couple of small reppers (to repair drones as needed)
Salvager

or you can try to fit in a DLA or a proto-cloak

Note: Without the cloak, you will need a scout.

Ishtar
Highs
Drone Link augmentor
Salvager
Tractor beam
( Highs are really just personal preference. )

Mids
Medium Shield booster
Kinetic ward field
Thermic ward field
10mn AB
Omnidirectional tracking link

Lows
Power diagnostic system
Power diagnostic system
Drone damage amp
Drone damage amp
DCII ( safer )
Drone tracking enhancer

rigs
CCCx3
( usually still versatile if your alrweady stable )

Really its fairly versatile, it already has very high resist to guristas so you can drop the kinetic hardenner for another omni, if your cap stable you can drop the PDU's and add another DDA and/or DTE always orbit something and just stay moving thats most of your damage mitigation, may have cpu problems not entirely sure because this is off the top of my head

hull is around 170m modules + drones ( all t2 ) probably around 20 - 30m so estimated price of around 200m

Cant say for sure if it can tank EVERY site, but I tanked a Angel sanctum in this with two adaptive invulnerbility fields so my resist were somewhat lower. on paper its tank dosnt look that good but your speed keeps you away from most of the dps, take out frigs first because web = bad day

Wasp II x5
Vespa II x5
Bouncer II x5
Vespa EC-600 x5

I use the above for Forsaken Hubs, Havens and Sanctums and have always been fine. It will give you over 94% Kinetic resist, and you can do over 1,000 m/s.

The key is to keep moving and speed tank i.e. orbit at a range that you can keep your speed up over 600m/s, which will give you good traversal. Try 10k and see what speed that give you.

Shoot frigs first, then cruisers, then battleships.

You can go T2 on the rigs if you want to give you more passive regen, but at 22.6M compared to 1.55M for the T1 Medium Core Defense Field Purger's, its not really necessary.

If you find that doesn't work for you then you can go extreme on the tank with the following fit, but this is more for DED sites where webbing is expected.

I prefer to have the Target Painter to keep aggro off the drones and the Drone Navigation Computer II for faster Heavy Drones though.

drones to suit.

[Edit]
Re the Vexor Navy Issue : You can do something similar to the first fit, and get the same DPS out of a set of Heavy Drones, but when you're approaching the next group of rats that may spawn 30km away, you're going to be taking incoming when approaching them, even if you're at an angle to keep some traversal up................and if you ever bump into a structure when orbiting a group and lose your speed, then you can take quite a hammering, and with the lower hull resists compared to the Ishtar, it can quickly get you in trouble.

VNI can work well but I found it more work and had to stay at range, giving issues both with the time to get the drones back in if a neut entered system, and recalling the drones if they take any aggro.

I found the VNI is a bit lackluster, mostly in its tank like you said. Armor with AB is the probably the best since VNI only has 4 mids.

I've preferred the Gila until my Ishtar training is done (7 days) but the price tag for a Gila + faction shield repper will take the price tag over 300M I bet.

If you're like me and take vacations out to null (no scouts/intel channels) either MWD+cloak is required or a T3 with CovOps cloak is the only way to "safely" get back and forth. My VNI mids are MWD, AB, cap injector, drone support. Lows are 3 DDA 2 hardeners and a medium rep. Maybe room for improvement but I'm just going to wait the 7 days for Ishtar.
