You're showing great organization and promotion skills. Kudos for getting miners to be more social and work together. You're making yourself a target -- but it's content creation.

If you get your miners to operate in tanked Procurers and Skiffs you'll do a lot to deter the gankers - just check out the tears about the skiff fleets in Crime and Punishment.

It looks like you picked that system because of the large number of belts. You might consider Uosusuokko for the .7 sec status bump when trouble is around.

Also, it can be fun to setup alts in next door systems to act as pickets. Or sit in stations where the gankers are basing out of to know when they are mobilizing for an attack.

We're going to try Uosusuokko today and see how that goes.

Great idea & implementation.
About the gankers, have some1 log into a throwaway alt every so often and use an ibis to shoot anything at the primary field. This draws concord into the system & on grid. Response time is greatly improved.

We don't have a Primary field per say, the fleet boosters are the corporations alts and we sit in the pos all day and just give people access to boooosts.

But i'll pass on the information, hopefully it'll save some lives.

For those that don't know RS Shiyurida is the CEO toon of Mighty Enterprises and is an alt of CJ Alland. CJ Alland runs a bot network. He should be avoided and trolled when possible.

AAR after killing 6 of CJ Allands bots:

After several days of war declarations, barge bumping, and hand-wringing, it seemed that the bot problem was here to stay. We had declared war on RS Shiyurida's corporation, only for him to move his POS into the protection of another shell corp. We had tried bumping his mining barges into submission, but after countless successful collisions that launched his ships a hundred kilometers away from their objectives, his bots carried on completely unperturbed. Our desperate pleas for CCP to take action against this flagrant violation of the EULA were met only with the canned response of "We'll look into it."

Even worse, RS had moved two PVP characters into his corp and had started ambushing our steadfast miners. He claimed poor [REDACTED] twice before [REDACTED] inadvertently returned the favor with a flight of tech 1 drones.

It seemed that our last possible course of action was suicide-ganking, and even that wasn't going well. RS had modified his bots with hefty shield modules, and they could boast over 40,000 effective hitpoints. Any attempt to eliminate these monstrosities would have to be well attended and well coordinated, as we had precious little time to apply our damage before the police arrived and blew us into oblivion.

As we prepared for battle, things seemed to be only getting worse. One person couldn't get teamspeak to work. Another was forced to leave fleet to the tune of a screaming baby in the background. Yet another person had never boarded a ship from an orca before, an action which our plan relied upon. Perhaps the worst part was that [REDACTED], who had been organizing the operation, was forced to log in more and more accounts until his voice connection lost coherency. As [REDACTED] continued to organize the fleet in choppy, barely understandable sentences I began to lose hope that we would ever kill one barge, much less all of them in one night.

Boy was I wrong.

After finding a suitable bot, we warped in and started the countdown to fire. I cringed, ready for people to say "Why won't my guns fire" or "Where are we supposed to warp to again" or "Am I supposed to be undocked" or express the countless other ways a ragtag bunch of newbros could misunderstand garbled instructions and misread the esoteric EVE UI. Yet to my surprise, everyone fired in perfect synchronization and our target died faster than a certain angry Brit could shout "Pay me 400m". Never had I been so happy to see CONCORD arrive and pulverize my catalyst into a pod.

After the first procurer died, the next five died as fast as our criminal timers would let us. By the sixth kill, we were nothing but stone-cold suicide gankers.

As of writing this report, all of RS's bot characters are online and none are in [REDACTED]. Let's hope it stays that way.

Good job everyone.

Hello Blind Blinky.

Now before I begin I’m going to make a few things very clear. Myself and RS and separate people. I have currently 9 characters and RS has 5. You only met 3 of them.

My name is CJ, I formed MTYEN as a manufacturing corporation which later became a mining fleet host as our focuses changed and alts were used for other things.

RS and myself have never mined, nor do we own any mining bot alts. Our other characters are focused into Trading, industry, whs, nullsec and pve.

It was unfortunate that you disliked our community joining you in Hizhara.

I want you to take confidence in the fact that I did everything in my power to refrain from laughing when receiving copies of your conversations with RS.

RS assumed control of MTYEN after I decided to begin my capital ship construction career. He runs the fleet and keeps it operational and we have discussions on it’s well being and directions regularly.
The safety of the fleet members is our top priority, the fleet members were never in any danger from yourself or anyone else for that matter. Whoever you think you ganked it wasn’t anyone in the fleet. =S

The “PVP” characters as you called them were our alts we threw over there to have a little fun with you as you paid 50m to wardec a corporation with no pos (Which you specified you would kill in one of your eve mails). *Claps

Yes we lost a 30m frigate but it was fun watching you lot scatter about and overall I think you’ll agree it spiced things up alittle.

I assume it was you then who also wardecced a further 4 of RS’s corporations in the attempt to…….. You know what I actually don’t know.
You must have known that it’s was a waste of time and isk as those corporations litrally are housed by characters just to own a corp. These corporations are used by MTYEN as a house for the ORCA when wardecs hit. Either way you put yourself out of pocket and still didn’t remove the fleet's ability to run.

I’ve just been looking through the records and we actually stayed in Hizhara 3 days longer than we had planned. This might have been something to do with the hilarious eve mails, though I’ll have to verify that.

Finally the bot accusations. I did go over this briefly at the start but again I want to itterate that all this trouble you have had with “Our army of bots” was actually two people. one of which only came down to Hizhara for one night.
Everyone in our public fleet using the mining boosts are individual people of which RS and myself have no affiliation aside from the obvious connection with the mining fleet.

Hopefully this has cleared up some of the points in your post, though honestly I skimmed a lot of it as you tend to repeat yourself.

I hope to again share a system with you in the future. I look forward to your warm welcome.

Hey there fellow mining enthusiasts. I was wondering, in what system can I benefit from these sweet boosts you're advertising?
