Gtkevemon could connect yesterday, but not today.
I just updated to the latest version (as per the other thread) but no luck.

I get errors like:
Updater: Interval expired, downloading data files...
SSL error connecting!
2728278824:error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed:s3_clnt.c:1181:
Updater: Error downloading SkillTree.xml: SSL error connecting.

According to http://eve-offline.net/ CREST and API are online, so something has changed since yesterday.

There's an issue opened for this https://github.com/gtkevemon/gtkevemon/issues/41 Seems like CCP changed something again.

Yup, saw that as well.
I am completely clueless concerning the EVE API. Is this anything that CCP has announced somewhere?
Having to work on software for my job the fun has gone a bit out of working on hobby software during the weekendsSad

The friendly guys at github fixed the problem by replacing the networking layer with lubcurl, so everything is hunkydory againLol

And the fix is pulled. It now uses libcurl4 for downloads so if you're on a Debian based system you need to install
libcurl4-openssl-dev
to be able to compile.
