As title you could buy 21200 aurum for $8.50 via Amazon worth around 14 Billion Isk. Ive heard that ppl have bought over 1 million each.

There was a very very short time where you could buy aurum for a ridiculously good deal.
900 for $0.43 or 21.2k for $8.53

It happened. It was only up for about 30 minutes before CCP had it fixed.

Assuming the low-price glitch was real, and assuming the OP's figures were accurate (21,200 AUR [worth 14b ISK] for $8.75 USD) then it would have cost that guy $541.25 USD to get 866b ISK worth of AUR.

Last time an Amazon error happen was with Plex and CCP revoke all the purchases and refunded customers. Maybe you should keep your mouth shut.

Isn't CCP in the middle of a strike? If so, there may not be the necessary manpower to cut today's release, give folks some downtime for making the release, and then clean up the situation(s) where those luckly people have already converted/sold the cheap aurum in the NeX store and/or on the EVE markets.

It definitely happened.

I have seen some pics but they identify one lucky person who scooped up quite a few before it was corrected.

Has an extremely large amount of AUR now.
