Storyline agents division and mission types - any connections?

Hey, I found a topic in the old forums regarding this matter - it would seem that all storyline agents used to give all special missions, no matter their division.

Has this been changed? My nearest storyline agent is in distribution and most of the time I get "Materials for war preparation", but last time she gave me a combat mission.

So, my question is does storyline agent division matter for which mission you are going to get? I am doing security missions and I'd rather get combat missions, plus they provide the best faction standing bonus.

Not anymore. Agent picks up randomly from mission pool.

So what you are saying is it doesn't matter if the agent is in security, distribution or something else?

It does not. I recently completed two security missions for a "Mining" agent.

Storyline agents should just be storyline agents imo as they seem to pick a random mission from the pool.

You can pretty much count on them giving you the complete opposite type of mission compared to what you're regularly running.

QFT. The Caldari Navy Storyline agent in Aokinen constellation (Black Rise) is distribution. He always gave me courier missions to losec. Nearly every CN agent in the constellation is security.
