can you just ask for a trial?

hi there, i'm rick. i just play eve for about 4 days now, i'm getting the basic's down, lost a few ship already (Dont ask me how :p)
i see both ingame and on the forum people asking for a 24 day trial. some even ask for a 60 day trial,

i like such a trial but i wonder if its oke if you just ask that? is it oke with the makers of eve, i can see the point if the devs want to ban you for it, ( because 24d is almost a month ) also is it oke within the comminity? is it rude if you just ask that, if i want to buy the game i don't wanna **** everybody off who plays it because then they are gonna kick my butt with 200km long ship ( i saw one of those big ships today, but a ran away from it because i'm sure that he can me with one blow, and i don't wanna found out if i am right)

well that's it thats my question, thank you all for reading and/or awnsering

The 60 day trails thing is cause the devs gave all the active account a special key for a 60 day trail to invite buddies into the game and provides no benefits to the existing player other then having ogtten another friend in.

The 21 day trial is very similar except that each active subscriber can put out a few of these every month and the person that does the inviting gets a PLEX or 30 days of game time (depending on what they pick) when their "buddy" subscribes.

If you want you can send me your out of game email address (with a in-game mail so you dont advertise it on a public forum) and I'll send ya a 21 day one ^^

(Btw the longest ships in the game are titans and only get to about 18km hehe)

I've already given my 60d invitation so unless someone has an unused one you have to deal with the one you already got.
60 and 21d trials only work on completely new accounts though so you couldn't use them to add time for your existing account anyway.
And yes whining for 60d or 21d trial accounts does feel a bit rude, I agree on that one.

Hi Rick

I still have one 21day buddy invite trial left for this month.

Because its the holiday season, i am doing a special giveaway.

Basically i will PLEX (upgrade) your 21day trial account for you, giving you 51days of game time with full access to all of EVE's contents.

Since i will be getting a PLEX back, i don't lose anything.

All you have to do is reimburse me the difference between buying a PLEX off the market to upgrade your account, and then selling the PLEX i receive as a reward for upgrading my buddy invite.

The difference is around 10MIL, which you can make simply by completing all the starting tutorials.

If you are interested, contact me in game @ Zendo Akuma

Alternatively the more traditional method is to give you back a proportion of the ISK i receive from selling the PLEX i get as a reward for a buddy invite.

The last player that went through with this got 415MIL. So its up to you which offer you prefer

im never gonna be able to make 10m, i find i hard to believe thats its so easy to make that kind of isk

It might seem so when you are starting out and still struggling with level 1 missions. But to give just one example: If you stick with missions you will eventually get to level 4 missions which can give over 20 mil ISK from single mission.

so if i understand correctly i get a 21d trial, and you plex it for me. and all i have to do is pay 10m? if thats true, then wait is the time period for when i have to pay the 10m? and also is that legal within the game to do? i dont wanna break any rules

also i have no idea how to message people ingame

yup not only legal but fairly common

not only is it possible to make more then 10 mill in a day (which sounds low to many of us) you can even do 10 mill every 10 minutes in a fairly decent incursion fleet, every 5 minutes if they're good.

provided you get upped to a full account you can be into a battlecrusier fairly quickly and do some basic level 3s in about 2 months. Those level 3s can net you quite a bit for your age and from there you can get into battleships for incursions (which are a fair bit easier to fit then for missions cause you don;t have a local tank for incursions)

10 mill might sound like a lot to you but keep in mind that things like tier 2 battleship all fitted out decently can run someone 200 million and they might have 5 ships that all cost that much. How good they are at making ISK or saving just determines if they bought it all at once or not; most people don't buy up 5 battleships at once lol....

No way? i never expected to get a trial to begin with, i was just curious if it was possible to do. but man.. 60d. thats 2 months for a trial... wow.

i'm happy that you decided to give that to me, if you ever change your mind, i wait 2 days before i active it, maybe you need it back if one of your friends wants to play, that could always happen. (i had that in another game and i felt like a yerk for already giving it away)

No, it will take some months before you could do them. But as longer term goal that is something you might want to consider for getting ISK.

When I was starting EVE I could not see any way to make decent ISK and I would've loved to know that at level 4 missions pay so well even if getting there will take some time. But that is still just one of many ways of making ISK. This article has some basic information of what else you could consider: Making ISK

No need to wait, none of my real life friends have any interest in EvE Online, so use the code whenever you want :)
