So to clarify (there's a lot going on in this thread). The LEADER of some empire merc corp won't accept a 1v1 request in his C&P hire me thread???

There is no way I would hire a corp with that sort of weak leadership. What's the point really? I guess I would need a list of all the things this leader and merc corp just won't do for isk. I'll get it started.

Things this merc corp won't do:

1. 1v1 with Leto Thule.
2.

(I could use a little help here)

Only in California. I tried in North Texas while I was living there but nah. Too dry. I DID grow a WICKED fig tree, though.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

Want to make New Eden a nice place? Try this out.

I used to have this awesome tomato 'tree'. I encouraged it for months to grow up then out using a stake and rags. It was 1m tall before the branches started. Was cool but the one I grew using a wire fence made more fruit

I'm in the north east US. I got 2 for my wife last year. It said cold hardy in the add so I got them. It also had a little asterisk by the cold hardy explaining that they are cold hardy if you bring them inside for the fall, spring and winter. They are struggling. They catch a little life mid through late summer and look really happy - then I drag them in the house to suffer for roughly 7 months.

It's a sad miserable life for an avacado tree for sure, but I take solace in the fact that their miserable lives have more value than some empire mercenaries that are trying to hijack this thread. My isk is on them providing my wife with yummy avacados long before Holysheet1 grows enough kivespussi to 1v1 Leto. (7 years or so)

I don't recommend growing avacados in the northeastern US.

My grandfather had an avocado tree on the south coast of NSW Australia... had masses of fruit... was pretty temperate there...

I want to see if I can grow passionfruit or limes... but I think the frosts we get here are a bit to harsh...
I can grow Nashi Pears, which I will be turning into Nashi Cider at some point...

Well I'm up in NE Queensland and I grow passion fruit via grafting. I find a variety that is drought resistant (panama was my pick) and use it as the root stock (aswell as I grow them too) and this seems to work quite well. I'll ask around for a cold weather variety to see if they exist
