Dat feels when you've counted all zeros while inputing a number, yet still doubting the validity, so you re-input some more. Big smile I end up copy/pasting the number from the calc into chat/notepad and separate it manually with commas.

Please. Shocked

Yup... Let us scale the window which in part will scale the buttons and display within the calculator window as well.

I would appreciate this as a QoL change, even though I keep both a calculator utility and a hand held programmable calculator handy when playing.

+1

Also -- Improve the ingame calculator to have more functions, like a scientific calculator does.

I have to physically use my scientific calc in real life, which can sometimes be a pain when i have to dig it out of my university stuff, and then find out in lecture the next day that i left my calc next to my computer because i was doing some crazy eve related math last night

Pressing backspace on the calc also, should NOT remove the entire number you entered, but the last digit you entered (i make this mistake so many times..) Evil

Surely CCP can code an OK calculator, how hard can it be.

I mean considering that Eve online is a spreadsheet game...

Indeed so.

If my memory serves me right, the calc has been like this ever since I started playing in 2004. At the very least, please introduce the thousands separator. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

What's the rationale for using the in-game calculator? I really don't think I've ever used it. Most keyboards I've seen in years have a calculator button and the Windows calculator gets the job done.

+1 anyway though

Windows calculator is actually a better tool. It's more responsive for those of us who type fast, and meshes quite nicely with the 10key keypad on most keyboards, where the ingame calculator doesn't ever seem to want to for me.

Now, if you'll all excuse me, I need to go shower. I feel so dirty after having to admit something in Windows is actually good.

Because... it's in-game? I have to do ten thousand different calculations per day, alt-tabbing to have essential features would be overkill.

Yes, I play in windowed mode (fullscreen) for nVidia's Shadowplay recording software, playing in a genuine window would also be overkill and teh immersion - it breaketh. Sad

Yes you are, but why are you rising this question only now? I mean you've been here since 2004 as it stated above. Looks like you became old and can't use evecalculator properly.
