That is the only entry on "Primae" in my brain rolodex.

As is the case for most other "special edition ships."

Remember the Zepher?
Echelon?
Apothesis shuttle?

Some gifts are going to be useless. But they are still gifts.

Yeah I remember those because I bothered to keep all the othe--what the **** is an Echelon

uhh the zephyr is ABSOLUTELY not useless

if you live in a wormhole they are a must have

The Primae was never a good ship. It wasn't good when it was added, and it's not good now. But it was free. Would be nice if they buffed all the gift ships to be something nice, but I doubt it.. I mean the Zepher has it's uses, but the rest don't.

I think everyone is missing the point of the ship.

It allowed people on trial accounts to do PI, since they couldn't use an Industrial for the large volume command center.

It takes Industrial I to fly an Iteron Series.. So if you did so much as 20minutes of the training missions, you had the skills.

No, it was added as just some eye candy with with features to make you think, but no piratical purpose..

Trial accounts couldn't train any racial Industrial.

Despite the current state of trial account limitations, it was definitely the case back when the Primae was released (Dev Blog - Trials and Tribulations).

Trial Accounts don't have the skills to do PI worth a damn anyway.

Primea should be repurposed as a deep space PI collection vessle. Able to fit a covert ops cloak and a sizeable PI hold. In its current state the ships is not even next to useless, it IS useless.

This is how I would like it, I looked at the Primea as a ship for PI, but noticed the others and just laughed... A 10-20k hold with cov-ops would be sexy.

The Zephyr is actually useful for setting up warpins at sleeper sight because it has pod-level aggro immunity to sleepers.

Echelon is the only ship capable of fitting the most powerful data analyzer in the game. It just doesn't have the probes to find them.

The Primae tho was only ever for trail accounts. Even before the rebalance to the iterons, it was just as easy to use any other damn hauler to do your PI with. The ONLY people that had any benefit from its existence were trial accounts that couldn't use industrials, but now even that restriction has been removed so the Primae has no purpose at all now.

HOWEVER

it's a decent scam ship, when you sell a Primae to someone telling them it's a Noctis :P

If you reprocessed the analyzer that came with it you ended up with an head in a jar.

Whenever CCP mentions "brain in a box", this is the sort of thing I think of, not some abstract coding project.

Wasn't the Primae the first model to have moving parts? (The boom/ring around the center rotates.)

I think there were a bunch of ships with moving parts and/or blinky lights. I remember the harpy or hawk having spinny things. although that is going back far enough I could me making it up.

anyways it was a gift, and it was useless when we got it.

The last "recorded" event was right in between her Father's death and her Rise to the throne. I forget where in The Empyrean Age by Tony Gonzales, it is. But it's somewhere there.... Just read the whole damn book, it's pretty good!

Also, as a side note these "parties" involve underage individuals...
