Would it be considered burglary if I hand you the key to my house?

What has your nationality and playstyle got to do with CCP enforcing their EULA?

Technically you could still be prosecuted for something such as that as it would still be regarded as breaking and entering into computer systems or anything related to it. If I were to be a social engineer and con my way into knowing your information to access your bank account, would I then be less criminal if I'd pull your account empty?

If you want to form a coalition against the spooky Russians then do it. When the Russian's allies come to aid them don't be surprised! This sandbox game has this thing called "Politics" one of my favorite parts and the most interesting thing in Eve to me.

Spend less time time complaining and being bitter and go do something to make a difference. PvPing is pretty fun if you haven't tried it.

I think it's an inherent part of EVE that people voice their opinion, how flawed it may be.
Both sides are guilty of that in a fight, just like the "Krab Republic" mocked and moaned at QEX/LZHX/HK, so does LZHX when they complain people call batphones against their "friends". Yes HiddenFremen, I am looking at you.

As for the renting, I have nothing against MaxDEL's hard work to try and build an empire, but as with many people I am not happy that it ends up going at the expense of possibly good groups just so they can dominate some space, all while account sharing to boot. It's the sheer principle of offering rentable systems to corporations in w-space that I dislike, as it would turn our awesome gameplay into another 0.0 boring blue donut.

I came to wormhole space to enjoy a NASI policy (Not Alliance Shoot It), but I will band together with people if the very core of wormhole space as I percieve it is threatened by one or more groups. Sadly my presence at the moment is really limited, but who knows in a few months =)

So many issues raised here.

It is very sad to see someone burn out through so much effort whether one agrees with the corporate philosophy or not.

It is sad when one's allies and members are publicly humiliated, and ones's true view of them is published, of course this could be a mistake in context or translation and they are actually held in respect. I am sure it will lead to frank conversations between the parties to clear that up.

Whilst RMT is discussed, I do not see this being directly admitted in the transcript, we should not jump to assumptions.

The only real issue raised is if a false claim was made for reinbursement. Only the involved parties and now CCP know for sure whether they claimed to be hacked when they knew the loss was due to account sharing. This transcript was not available to CCP at the time, and they will likely revisit their judgement and decide accordingly.

CCP will take whatever action they see fit, It is not for us to bring out the pitchforks, as either way, it does not give QEX an in game advantage other than allowing the return of assets . CCP do not like their systems and customer service being abused to take advantage of their good will though.

Account sharing of course does allow maximisation in the use of accounts, and again, that is for CCP to decide if it needs action. The EULA does indicate they are not in favour of it.

QEX, Laserhawks, and Hard knocks, are playing the game in an entirely valid way, one may like it, or not. One may believe it is harmful to the game, or not.

These are issues outside of this thread. To be dealt with in other forum posts, or in game. This transcript, simply shows what has been happening in the shadows.

True,

However, if the recordings are deemed credible by CCP it could result in an additional investigation into account sharing and rumoured RMT. Just because they handled the situation first, doesn't mean they won't change their mind later on.

Crabs can not kill us physically in the game, so try to do it legally Big smile relying on stolen record of the meeting (not the fact that it is ours).
Go on, go on. Everyone knows what happens to those who we do not like

Maybe your prayers will be heard, CCP will ban all WH-PVP corporations and will come a paradise for crabs.
if you read the translation of the recording - MaxDEL anyway what will happen next - He took this game - he killed all of you, and evicted more than once, and you are still waiting for the anomaly.

Friend. Intention is not to kill anyone legally. Intention is to show your true intentions regarding the W-space and let the community judge. We don't care about you bending the rules. For the sake of credibility of the translation it had to be complete and include the confessed transgressions.

What is funny to me is people whiteknighting and pitchforking about the EULA like its some sacred holy text. This thread sounds like a inquisition.

You are referring to what I said about a jump clone module inside a WH and how it should be able to be reinforced or disabled. Seems like something that would match the other game mechanics. I think jumping cloning into a wh would be sweet. As long as there is a counter to it that can be attacked or defended.

People that have been playing ever for years make friendships, and when friends quit eve they give thier friends thier accounts and thier stuff. Speeding on a highway is illegal, but people still do it. Got to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

Yoou right it may not be a holy text but it is a legal document and thus you have to obey the entirety of said document.
And as far as I know people get fined for speeding so your argument there is invalid. It is a risk/reward problem and sometimes you come out on the wrong side. You must live with the choices you make.

As for the renting and or Empire building aspect I have no problem with that. That is an ingame action that players can fight or accept ingame as they see fit. But don't come and play by a different set of rules to the rest of EVE.

Sorry the last bit is not directly related to your post.

Pretty much what I got out of it after reading it.

You, as a leader of a wormhole powerhouse, are in the rare position of actually being able to shape the w-space landscape to an extreme extent through your personal actions. Sure, some scrub tier daytripper might one day rise to be your political equal and form a coalition all on his own to successfully challenge the spooky Russians, but right now you're already at the pinnacle. How your alliance plays, who your alliance fights, and who your alliance befriends, those choices are up to you.

And you chose to get in bed with Russian slumlords. Long live the WHCFC.
