It could be argued that the treaty in question was already dead.

Or perhaps the tech that the slavery cult empire is giving to all us capsuleers is what she stole from the Drifters which is why the capsuleer Jamyl (which by definition would make her even by their own scriptural standards not fit to sit on the foul throne of that despicable empire) seeks to spread it Cluster wide to diminish the impact of the vengeful Drifters as they come looking for it back. Could this be a ploy to get all us capsuleers labeled as enemies to the wide ranging Drifters? It will be interesting to see if the Drifters are attracted to or repelled from structures using this new shielding.

Any treaty that does not have the slavery cult empire giving up it's "reclaiming mandate" is not honest to begin with. Unless the treaty clearly states we'll not conquer you until such and such date, you know, you'll be the last one we conquer and bring to our false religion that motivates our spread across space.

One must be aware that Concord has influences upon it that are not completely pure, so violating an agreement with Concord is not so troubling as it might appear on the surface.

The threat must be terribly dire if Her Imperial Majesty believes it necessary to break our word to the interstellar community. May God forgive us for this sin committed in defense of His creations.

I'm sorry Mrs Kernher, but no. It would have been far more greater sin to sit and do absolutely nothing when you know what needs to be done.

I believe that is my superior's point. That it is a grave threat that has forced the Empress' hand. If treaties have been found to be broken, we must accept there may be consequences for that, but regardless Her Imperial Majesty saw in her wisdom that something needed to be done. A lesser of two evils, by some margin.

None of us true and faithful servants of God are questioning the Divine Empress' decision for she works with the mandate of God, but Lt Kernher has a point that we must still accept our word has none the less been tarnished by this act. I, for one, will accept this as part of the cost of defending ourselves from greater threats.

Her Holiness actions are going in accordance with the holy texts, I'm talking about "Book of Missions 13:21" here. So nothing was "tarnished", it should have been done and there was no way around it.

Oh, one of our companies, Khanid Innovation, has a long-standing history of working with Lai Dai. Ladi Dai even owns about 3% of the shares in Khanid Innovation.

Not common knowledge, I guess.

Lai Dai? Isn't that the Caldari super corporation that sponsors the School Of Applied Knowledge?

I did not know they had a campus in khanid space? Perhaps it is not common knowledge.

Such an interesting alliance lol, even when you work with them they try to diminish your contributions.

It is common enough knowledge if you know where to look.

In short, when Khanid first broke off from the Empire, we allied with the Caldari. Corporations such as Lai Dai helped us develop our economy and technology. You can still see this in a few ship types that are still popular.

I agree. The workings of God are not coincidences, they are miracles. It is baffling that any yet doubt the Empress' holy favor, and the divine mandate of the Empire, in the face of such inspiring proof to the contrary.

There's also Carthum Conglomerate, which was founded by Sarum Family and Lai Dai. I find it much more likely that they were involved in the development of this new technology.

I am fairly sure they are referring to Carthum Congolmerate. It was founded with the assistance of Lai Dai, and they own a very considerable share of it, much greater than 3%. We'll have to wait for more news to know for certain, however.

Could be, could be.

Either way, the die is cast. Let's see where the Empress take this.

You seem to be implying that the Empire is full of warmongers and yet it wasn't Amarrian ships that attacked Yulai, it was Matari ones.

Maybe it ain't,

But it's lead by them. And y'all get your panties in a twist when anyone says anything bad about the Empress. So you want to be all sweetness and light, do so. Stop pretending that you ain't a bunch of zealot, warmongering slavers when you clearly are.

Always in motion is the future, difficult to see... but I see this... there is no hope from the 'Harbinger of Hope', there is no gift in return to what we have given the Empire. Her lack of judgement (again) shall only reduce the slumber spell she has cast upon the Sarumites in her grasp.

Yes, the Matari people have been the only ones with the technology, conviction, courage, and the skills to defy Concord.

The same Matari people who have been the only ones in Empire space with the technology, conviction, courage, and skills to hand the slavery cultists of your despicable, but fortunately shrinking empire, massive defeats and kick them off planets and "Reclaim" entire systems by force of arms.

Something in their arrogance your "crusaders" would do well to remember.

That is not what I said.

No, there have not.

Her Imperial Majesty is empress and leads Amarr dutifully as the voice of God. If not her, then His Highness Ardishapur would be the best suited to rule, though any of the heirs would do well.

Your king, however, is not in the line of succession. He gave up that right.
