Can you make it so when you set up pi you can have a predefined layout as doing 30-odd planets surely leads to getting RSI as it is a clickfest

Furthermore when setting routs and products for factories allow us to do multiple factories at onece please for the love of god if nothing else do this

I'll settle for clickinc all factories, setting one bp for all of them, and setting up a single route to pull them.

or better yet, make them automatically look in the damn storage unit and go 'oh i need this.. yank'

I do a lot of PI and as much as i would love this feature, especially given i reset my lines on some of my alts based on what item is "hot" at the time I have to disagree with this, i like the complexity, and being able to set up a maximum efficiency line for any product is what separates a good colonial investor from the rest of them.

You can watch all the tutorials you want, it helps, but being able to do the math, configure exact locations for certain installations that permit maximum exploitation of resources with minimal power and CPU expense is critical to the best setups.

If you dumb the process down suddenly everyone's lines become more efficient, this depresses the market, which means in turn we lose money.

The less clicky PI becomes.... the easier it is to get into... the less isk per unit you'll make when everybody starts doing it...

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

They have already laid the groundwork for a much more amazing form of PI which has real conflict.

Districts.

Imagine if you took a district, and could fit it, like you fit a ship, or like they are talking about doing with the new structures.
And if you could contest districts in some manner, (Dust could tie into this but if PI is done in EVE it should require EVE for any kind of final take over, and be possible 100% inside EVE also).

So only one person can own each district, this avoids a million people doing it, introduces more risk to PI, as well as increase reasons for people to fight.
This means that despite it being easier to get into, you also don't get massive increases in production.

They should have PI setups saved, just like they have ship fittings saved.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I fail to see your logic here
There are more than a thousand planets, many of which have dozens of districts, and only 1 cluster of systems is for Mercenaries to fight in and control them, full integration like this will never happen because of restrictions to empire space and such. Sure you might own some districts in your sov, sure you might evict a rivals PI for no reason other than to poke them, but even if you controlled every planet in low and null and WH space, which is an enormous feat, there are still hundreds of worlds in highsec open to everyone you cant touch, so the whole idea fails.
