farm data and relic sleeper sites?

Hi, we are new to living in a c5, and were wondering whether you can farm relic and data sites for 4 days like you can with combat anomalies (like Core Garrison/Stronghold) by killing only the first wave but leaving the first trigger alive and then doing the capital escalations? Or does it despawn the next DT after killing the rats of the first wave but not the trigger? We've been told that they can't be farmed like this, but just want to make sure, and we don't want to let a site go to waste because we didn't do all the waves.

They have the same spawn mechanics as all signatures/anoms, so yes. Just don't touch the cans until day 4.

Yes you can as long as you don't touch the data/relic cans.

Yeah you can do that. Just don't touch the cans or the site will despawn

Somehow I missed the part with the cans derp.

So, just to reiterate: yes you can run them multiple days in a row, just don't touch the data/relic cans. OK? Idea
