Alright, so following the instructions on the SISI installation, I've made a copy of the CCP File, I've made a new shortcut for the C:\Evetest eve.exe file. Now here is the problem...

I should be able to change the target through the properties >> shortcut tab. On windows 8, It would appear there is no such tab.
Does anyone know how to do this with the newest version of windows 8.

The shortcut properties window is unchanged between Win7 and 8, it does open on that tab by default, make sure you right click an actual shortcut, not a copy of the .exe file.

well I right click on either. Any file. Any where. and there is no shortcut tab under properties.

Don’t know if this will help but this is how I do it for Windows 7, 8.0 and 8.1

First make a new folder either on your C: drive if you only have one drive/partition or on a separate drive/partition and give it a name of your choice. Something like \Eve on SiSi or \Evetest.

Now copy everything from your \Eve Tranquillity folder including all subfolders \Eve\Launcher, \Eve\bulkdata, \Eve\ bin and \Eve\res into this new folder.

Once done open the \Eve\launcher folder of this copy and right click the launcher.exe file, from the drop down list select ‘Create Shortcut’

Next right click this new ‘launcher.exe –Shortcut’ and select ‘Properties’, you should now have the window open with the Target : input box already filled with the full path to the launcher.exe file.
Add one space then /server:Singularity at the end of the Target: input box, click [Apply] and or [OK] to close the window.

You can now drag and drop this shortcut on to your desktop to start the client and access SiSi, note it may take a while for the launcher to update the files needed for the client to start.
