Concern over Null-Sec Carnage

There is no hiding it, the Unbound in null-sec have erupted into war. The Unbound's wars are escalating higher and higher.

I am very concerned with this continued escalation, and seemingly constant loss of life in Null-Sec. Titans, Carriers, Dreadnoughts, and Super-Carriers are being lost left and right along with the thousands of smaller ships that accompany them. But these ships are crewed with hundreds of thousands of Baseliners.

Millions of baseliners die daily, and ISK is being lost at a tremendous rate. This constant loss of resources, ISK, and life is slowly dragging down the market, whether you choose to recognize it or not.

EvE News 24, an independent news network, continues to report on dozens of daily carnages between Null-Sec Corporations and alliances.

It needs to end. I would like for you to express your own concerns or opinions (don't turn this into a slavery debate or I will find you and I will kill you, multiple times), and possible solutions.

Thank you in advance,
Lord Cakzad Arcashiri

So about that slavery...

Also, why did you feel the need to both bold and italicize your title?

Slavery is wrong........ Ostingale, I'll be waiting.

To actually seriously place an opinion, The null sec "empires" really have no reason to stop. They have moons to fund themselves, Capsuleers flock there in droves to be part of the action, and all along the way they are spurred on by the incentives caused by greed. They won't end it, its against human nature for them to. You can only fight the tide for so long.

I believe an official petition to the DED and CONCORD is in order so as to circumvent this growing humanitarian tragedy in null-sec space.

Waiting for Matar Ronin to show up any minute now.....

We are Toralen Industries. It doesn't matter if you fight for money, idealogies, or because it's what you are good at and it doesn't matter if you fight threw trade, combat, or diplomacy. No matter what or how you fight, there's a place for you.

I now feel better about myself knowing that the Empire is taking strives to stop Null-Sec conflict.

Even if it is not just for that purpose, it is heartening.

Avio, how do you consider yourself a mercenary? EH? If they get along, then they don't pay us to blow the other guy up. DUR.

Although, I have to admit.......

Yes, we can get along. Now, where's the cupcakes. And you know, things might go along a little faster if you put on a bikini. Just saying. You know, the real reason the Empires are fightin' is, well........there are no kids around, right?

Unfortunate, yes, but I fear that this situation is inevitable. The DED lacks the forces to police null security space, and indeed can maintain no more that the automated sentry guns and monitoring systems in low security space. The empires are too involved with the wars of their own and the growing drifter threat to get involved. So who is left to police these independent capsuleers but themselves?

I myself spent some time in capsuleer owned space, and saw with my own eyes the chaos. Endless senseless violence. Although much of the fighting if over valuable territory and resources these organisations have become so wealthy and self obsessed that they engage in vast battles simply because they think it to be fun.

The advanced shielding released by Sarum to these capsuleers may put a damper on the ongoing hostilities in nullsec, but these capsuleers have already shown that they are willing to fight for no discernible reason whatsoever

Indeed. It is a sad situation.

I see those shields leading to escalated force deployment for some reason.

The thing keeping the Nullsec wars going is the endless supply of ISK and recruits.

A buddy of mine just went off to join the Pandemic Horde and not even a day later they have him and another 130 new pilots flying Maulers into battle, most of them haven't even fired a weapon let alone go into battle!

I applaud the Empress for putting the initiative to unite capsuleers but it just won't happen, money and glory buys men too easily.

As many others have already noted, there is no possible method of enforcing any laws or DED jurisdiction in Null sec. The fact such regions are lawless is the primary draw for capsuleers who do not wish to be bound by the boundaries of CONCORD and the Empires. Too many unprepared minds have joined with the capsule, and it will require the dawn of a new age before they will have grown to understand the magnitude of their actions as a collective.

It is the unforgivable idiocy of the baseliner governments that created the capsuleers as they are.

You, and all loyalists, by extension, wanted a mass-produced human superweapon.

You directly or indirectly supported the Jovian social experiment and cheerfully accepted their posioned gift. Now it repeats with the Entosis link, infantry implants and other Sleeper crap that they mindlessly plug into people, because noone wants to fall behind in the arms race.

You pandered to CONCORD that now tries to cover its weak ass as Drifters slowly set it on fire.

The Empires made that bed for themselves, and they keep adding more pillows to this day.

Shut up and sleep in it.
