Evefile.exe will no longer work (launcher bypass disabled)

I use both the launcher and evefile.exe (multiple symlinks) to launch multiple clients (faster for me). Now I have to use the launcher to launch each client (more typing, more clicking).

why, CCP, WHY OH WHY?!?

I hated your launcher from the first day on because its another piece of useless program which takes time loading.
Never used it, always despised it apart of updating the client.
Why do you have to bug us constantly with all different kinds of things, needlessly?!

your launcher is annoying and I was happy not having to use it!

Oops ...CCP should be prepared then to improve the launcher's QoS quickly ..

Have you lost your minds!?

At least you are letting me know early enough to have a fire sale. You haven't fixed your launcher in years, sticky threads with links to empty pages, same issues had by multiple people for weeks, months, and the same canned responses for over two years in some cases. Now you plan to take away the only method proven to allow them to play? That's absurd. I'm very disappointed to say the least.

Can't say I've ever had problems with the launcher, but I sure as heck don't want to be forced to use it. It's completely unnecessary.

I did exactly what was linked and replaced the .exe file and was able to log right in with no trouble after all the time of messing around using the .exe file, thanks CCP for the work-a-round.

hope so because your launcher is terrible and you should just fix it or remove it, an access point to a game is bad if it doesnt work

Care to comment on why the contradictory information was released in the first place?

I say this as someone who has the launcher fail on them many, many times, and someone who relies on the exe file on a regular basis.

Oh the inevitable sh*t storm this going to cause for symlinked client installs... I'm glad I don't run more then 3 accounts at time... those who use 10+ (if thats even still being done) are gonna have a helluva time.
