Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, May 28th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Performance and stability of the client

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  1. Meet in FD-MLJ at the X-BV98 gate
  2. Jump to X-BV98
  3. Warp to POS beacon
  4. Shoot the control tower
  5. Align to Poitot gate
  6. Fleet 1: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  7. Fleet 2: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate

What else should I know?
  • Bring many different ships
  • For moving to the test system - join the channel massmoveme or use /moveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

why not add to test a stress test b spawning some drifters and let players shoot the drifters. lets say give us 50 drifter battleships after all final steps were done.

What is that stressing?

Tower grind is probably the most stressful part of the test :|

Aside from loading 50 AI instantaneously it'll just end up giving us tons of dead sub-caps and sub-supers.

Just wondering if stress testing entosis use might not prove to be a better idea.
2 fleets, 1 defending, 1 attacking an iHub, see how the server handles new mechanics instead of known ones.

Servers rarely have a hiccup during a pos shoot but the consequences for the server may be very different if that same group were trying to defend and attack an iHub.

That as a test would actually be worth turning up for.

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

How are these skillpoints awarded? Can you just choose a skill to be trained on your Tranquillity account?

Yes, but will these skillpoints be awarded in the real game server or the test server?

Test server. Basic rule: Nothing that happens on the test server will effect TQ.

What's the link for the survey?

Thank you for participating in this mass test! Skill points have applied to your characters on Singularity (and yeah: the skill points are only for Singularity).
