You're missing the fact that EVE is based on player interaction.

Following your poorly-thought reasoning, you should HTFU and build yourself every single item you use, including gathering all resources on your own (mining, moon mining, sleeper loot, data/relic salvage, all PI materials, etc.).

Zappity's idea is good and fits perfectly with any other tradeable good or service in the game.

Give PVE-lovers something more to do and make ISK with, and all other players the opportunity to pay them for something they'd gladly pay for, but don't have the time and/or inclination to procure on their own.

Makes perfect sense, don't really understand why anyone playing EVE would oppose this.


Poorer quality troll. There's nothing stopping interpersonal interactions, but that has nothing to do with faction standing, which is NPC based, and thus, should have NPC based rulesets for progression.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Is it a problem, or a matter of design?
It's relatively easy to get good standings with all empire factions, but to get excellent standings with one requires a trade off in the standings with the opposition.
I believe it is possible to raise standings without adverse effect through the SoE epic arc.

I think this is reasonable tbh. It is a good trade off.
