Did they reinforce it and stay to destroy after it came out or did they attack after it came out of reinforce?

Oh. My. Goodness.

... well ... huh.

Maybe Goonswarm shouldn't be going on the offensive just now after all?

Was the tower online or offline? Looks undefended too, no guns or hardeners, no ECM, nothing...

If Capsuleers take control of Starbase guns after they have lured a Drifter to it, shooting the Drifter with the guns will make the Starbase itself register as a threat to the Drifters. I believe this same behavior was noticed in the Circadian Seekers, which makes sense as they are sent by the same forces.

All reports indicate they are not actively hunting Capsuleer infrastructure, or even Baseliner infrastructure. This is one of those many examples of Capsuleers being cavalier with their facilities and doing rather stupid things with them.

Oh.

....

That's a little disappointing.

... is it bad to say that?

Well this is disturbing.

People: "You shouldn't burn bridges." Me: "I don't, I bomb them from orbit."

Interesting.

And you will bring its message to every planet of every star in the heavens:

Go forth, conquer in my Name, and reclaim that which I have given."
