I just started playing again after a long absence. I decided to do a few NPC missions to get myself situated with the new UI and what not and get back into the swing of things.

I noticed whenever I activate a warp gate to jump deeper into a mission, I remember back in the day "combat music" that was unique for each faction and the combat dungeons would start playing. The music fades out into silence, then the normal music kicks back in again after a few second delay.

Is this a glitch? issue? Or did they remove that combat music?

Music has been a bloody, glitchy, failure since they removed the jukebox. In theory music is tied to regions and situations now, which might sound cool on paper - but if the guy that came up with that idea actually played the game he would know that most Eve players stick around the same constellation for the most part, which means they're stuck to only 5 tracks of music, period.

It's a terrible design and I hope they change it, after.they fix this ridiculously broken launcher that won't update or connect 95% of the time.

I face-palm when I see updates b/c that means I won't be playing for a while.

I remember when they took out the jukebox years ago... I was very butthurt over that. Though I never had issues with the music until just now.
