CCP can you figure out a way to separate acceleration of ships from agility. So what I am looking at purposing is mass having no factor for acceleration but a factor for agility and top speed. You could also look at overdrive Injectors and making them effect acceleration & mass and not velocity modifier & mass

Gallente the muscle cars in space but not the most agile, gall ships reach their top speed faster than other races.

Minmatar ships still stay the fastest and have the highest top speed ships and more agile.

Caldari & Amarr would both have below average acceleration, but decent over all agility. Stop speed would not change.

For Example, The Charger is the Deimos, The Eclipse is the Vagabond. Note the Charger weighs twice as much as the eclipse. Sorry no sound but best video I could find.

What?

Don't lighter things accelerate faster?

The mass of the ship and the available thrust will affect acceleration.

Top speed has no real value in space but I suppose you could link it with the specific impulse of the engine.

Agility I imagine is the ability for smaller thrusters to move the ship around other axis. Again the above link would indicate the mass is very important to this.
