So, actually, I was wondering why C4's don't get transients.

The amount of them from what I understand. The great C4 highway can take you across new eden and anokis w/o ever seeing another player, or you can run into 3 different PVP groups in as many holes (or less lol)

w space in general is really quiet these days. it just depends if you roll into someone big or not. catastrophic overview failure's hole is hyper active. they are c4 static c3 static c5.... straining memory here.

I have it on good authority that C4 residents are sexhavers IRL and funhavers in-game.

The double static really revitalized C4 space from what I've seen. Since I've been in wormholes I've seen them go from the least active to arguably the most active area. Very nice. I think the dual-static has proven highly successful. I personally hope that more areas of space will get the dual static, that would be great.

Well, actually, it went from barren bear paradise to mostly barren bear paradise with a sprinkling of people who get out of POS but who generally chose statics which don't see them interact often. eg; C2 + C5, C3 + C5 or so on.

But this doesn't address why we don't get transients. Like, can I haz a C247 once a month? I never, absolutely never, see transients beyond naff frig holes.

back when i was in c4 space, i struggle to think of a single occasion when that did happen. frig holes being the exception along with k162s... but never an outbound transient connection. not sure how that mechanic works across other wh, but it does happen in other classes so yea i'd agree its a bit strange. :/

well i've long thought C5/C6 space was the real bear haven with just a spattering of PvP corps in the mix.

Most transients we actually get in a C4 are K162 from bears, lots of them. I'm sure we miss some because they roll them in 2 min.

Apart from K162 and frig-holes, not a single random wh starting in our C4 in weeks

C4 space was fun but wormhole space in general has gotten a little emptier pvp-wise. The other thing, and I think I am one of the few, is that I see c5 with c2 or c3 static as more convenient pvp hole for small and medium groups. The mass of those holes makes them so much easier to roll for new chains. I was/am not a fan of the 2 and 3 bill statics in C4 space.

A C4 with C2 and C3 statics would be pretty damn nice for pvp. When I lived in a C4 with C5 static, we rarely saw pvp or people in that chain.

I would tend to agree with this. I've seen a lot of C6s setup with heavily defended towers with no ship/corp arrays. I can only assume it's alts logged out in the escalation fleet and carriers hold the salvagers and scanning ships.

I've put an alt back into an old corp that's living in a C4-C3/C5 and it's been pretty awesome in regards to the abundance or both PvE and PvP opportunities. Lot's of KSpace dwellers using the C3/C4s as travel conduits and likewise for diving.
