Club Quarters - Mercury Lounge

Quote:
So what do you guys wanna know?

A good handful of newly arrived Caldari pilots hang around their club chairs and stare at Captain Ricochet. They followed an invitation flyer which was handed out at the arrivals flght deck at Uitra for incoming traffic from the nearby Kisogo system. Just an ordinary day. "Aye Sir. What do you have to offer since you were the one that invited us to join for this reunion?" A younger man with a dark brow leather jacket and washed out sand-coloured pants responded unpatiently. "Nothing pilot. Literally nothing. Feel free to move along." The Captain responded bluntly. Without a greeting the pilot stood up and headed to the lounge door: "I am outta here. I am not gonna waste my time for free, for nothing. I am after the big bugs and ships."

Quote:
Anyone else want´s to leave before we start?

Erik Ricochet looked at the rest of the group. They´ve gotten a bit nervous but noone dared to say something.

Quote:
Alright pilots. Lets start from scratch. You have arrived here at the Uitra system and completed the first set of basic training. So what do you aim to do next? You can head to the Arnon system and apply to the Sisters Bureau. You might want to do that anyways.

"Sir, we are not a suicide command, we lack everything, skills, money, gear." another pilot responded.

Quote:
Right pilot. You hit the point. This is not about wealth or your rusty frigate or your navigation computer. I want you guys to understand something else. No matter how much money your wallet shows, how many ships your hangar hosts or how many classes you have attended ... the universe out there is not waiting for you. You are just a pinpoint nobody ever heard of.

"Hey, and how do you think we can get anywhere with your philosopy? I am more frustated than before coming here." a younger capsuleer said.

Quote:
I want you to listen very carefully. You make the difference. Just you as a pilot and not the stuff and money that you are bringing along. Make sure you connect with the right people supporting your path. Be open to learn from others all the time. Be active. Then you will make your way.

Erik Ricochet hands out a few booklets to the attendees of the short session. "Make sure you read this and then come back here to the Lounge if you are interested and want to talk. However no matter where you are heading, good luck pilots!"

That's different... sort of like reading between the lines...

It would have more effect if you actually put someone's name in the quote ie. [quote=NAME...
