Dreads and siege mode damage bonus

Just a quick question: Does the siege module damage bonus apply to subcap guns such as 1400s on a Nag? EFT and Pyfa have led me to believe that the bonus only applies to capital guns. Looking at the siege mod ingame, it does not explicitly state only capital guns receive the bonus.

Believe me, if they did work I would have been using dreads in many a fleet by now.

At one point there was a bug where it worked but that was like 4 years ago. They do not work that way now
