Using camera to auto-render avatar based on self...

I know a lot of people like to create these out-there, psycho-clown avatars made of equal parts nightmares and LSD... but what about using your computer's internal/external camera to snapshot your own face, and having that auto-rendered? I look nothing like my avatar, but I'd love to have my avatar look like me.

Thoughts?

I'm fairly sure that having your avatars look nothing like the players behind them is a distinct advantage.

It certainly is in my case.

Hey, I apply real life morals to a game. That game doesn't happen to be EVE.

Also, why bother with having it try to auto-render your face when you can do it yourself without large chunks of dev time eaten up?
