After reading some of the posts by you guys. I"m seeing the fighters side cry like kids not getting their milk. So you basically call your selves brave fighters and get a big ego growing cause you gank a defenseless haulers. Yes defenseless with no weapons. Bring back the days of mad max. Ever heard the words "An eye for an eye"..

How would you react to a hauler pumping out bullets to your head, i'm sure you would think before you start firing away or you would come up with a strategy to really take a hauler down wouldn't you. You call yourself tough guy's cause the hauler doesn't spray bullets back at you and i still see you guys posting in this section and crying.

And do you really think people in this world will have very expensive stuff hauled across the other side of the world without some sort of security. Really, As for me the eve collateral system is a black hole and needs to be revamped. The reason it hasn't is because there is some stupid ganking activity in high sec that ccp call "activity" and it's part of the game be it good or bad to the game it is what it is.

Don't forget haulers are so LIMITED with 3 slots compared to the 30 or more gankers it faces who have multiple slots and options. Yes gankers move very slow and can't do anything. Mmmmmmm what option do you have as a haulaer when your about to die. Let me give you the best tipp, just get popcorn and see your ship blow. Thanks CCP for being so inventive and idealistic when it comes to hauler options.

You already have an invincible, all-knowing and omnipresent police force who will kill everything that attacks you in < 25s.

Say you have 8 highslots which could fit any weapons you want, how many Catalysts could you kill in those 25s that would make a difference? No one cares if you have guns. Go on, make them give you high slots for guns, all I say is it will not make a difference. I wait here for the next whine thread about mid slots for sensor boosters in the meantime.

Friend, I think you need to take a deep breath, grab some tissue and calm down. The only tears flowing in this thread seem to be coming from you. Gankers, criminals and pirates are all part of the game as designed by CCP and are part of the dark PvP universe concept that is behind the game. CCP intends for your stuff to be at risk to attack, destruction and theft by other players. This is not some 12-year oversight on the part of the developers. You are suppose to have to spend some effort to protect your good while moving them.

There is nothing stopping you from getting your satisfaction, an "eye for and eye" as you say. Of course you should have "some sort of security" when you move your expensive stuff, but you are intended to bring that security by the developers. CCP could make a magic, invulnerable system for moving your goods in safety, but they don't because those goods are intended to be at risk and you are intended to protect them.

Play the game then, and protect your stuff instead of whining on the forums for CCP to do that for you.



Again, do you really think CCP doesn't know this? Haulers have been designed to have limited fittings so they are at risk to gankers. This was the original intention of the developers 12+ years ago and it still is the case. But it is not like you don't have tools. Blockade Runners and Deep Space Transports are effectively immune to gankers when piloted by someone at the keyboard, as is a Jump Freighter with a cyno on standby.

If you don't like playing the prey in New Eden, there are plenty of other professions available to you including that of gankers. But moaning about how you don't like playing the game as you are isn't a very productive way to remedy your unhappiness.
