We're still working on it. Can't say when they'll be ready to go live, hope it will happen soon-ish.

Could we please have the option to turn off the clouds completely? I miss space that looks like space, and it would speed up the game too.

Please give us an option to completely disable clouds too, its not worth the massive frame rate drops for me, thanks.

Please let us turn off the clouds, they are far too bright and obscure important stuff. I want space to be dark again.

So long as overlapping clouds no longer turn the screen pure white, i might be okay with turning them on...but when i can't tell whats going on because my screen has turned completely white because a couple of clouds overlapped...yeah, thats when they get turned off.

I'm not sure if anyone in the art department noticed the request, but quite a few of us would be interested in an Art and Graphics specific sub-forum where we could pose some of these questions, maybe see some of the cool stuff you guys are planning to release, give you some early constructive feedback...?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

You haven't noticed the trend of anything "art" and receiving "early feedback"....CCP always responds with "They aren't taking feedback on this." So i have a feeling us asking them to do something to allow us to give the early feedback won't do any good i'm afraid.

This might seem strange but i kind of want to play eve in the cloudy style it had 6 - 8 years ago. It seemed kind of cool and alien.

I think they should take feed back on how the art effects the game play. As in too much clutter, or brightness etc.

pls no more clouds...

my eve only use 5-10% cpu at normal and when im in some sites it jumps up to 50-60% cpu and even at minimum settings it still jumps up to 50%

I hadn't seen that statement, but it's been a long echoed issue. It's rather difficult to play when you can't see, and it's not a happy thing to notice your video hardware pushing harder simply because of an art item rather than because of heavy playing.

I was around then, but I don't remember the difference. I did like the Quafe / Pleasure Station background for some of the Gallente stations, however. The 'space city' feeling was immersive.
