i am upgrading from an alienware laptop to a new rig for eve i did plan to get myself a 27" gaming monitor while trying to saty in a sensible price bracket of £250 most monitors i found were 1920 x 1080p then i found this baby Dell UltraSharp U2515H 25" QHD IPS Professional Widescreen LED Monitor for £270 it has :-

ACHTUNG! You many need to shell out for a mini-display port cable to actually use that resolution. I have a Dell 32" and the manual listed the resolution limits for each of the various input types (DVI, HDMI, etc..)

I *highly* recommend that you download the user manual for the monitor and verify whether you will need to purchase a new cable as well (and check size as well.)

Fortunately, in my case, Amazon was able to same day(!) ship my cable to me, which dramatically reduced my pain and suffering (this was pre-Amazon Prime Now, btw.)

P.S. Living in the same city as an Amazon warehouse and/or distribution hub rocks. It's like Frys+Wal-Mart but without the people...

Sure everything is small but you can easily multibox up to 4 clients on one screen. No head turning to look at side screens.

I would love that at 21" ...
... or hell, 15.6" !

:D

Bigger is generally better for monitors, you strange backwards person. More screen real estate.

I run 2 24 inchers, 1920x1080. Works very well.

I have the same screen space like every other person with the same resolution. :)
Bigger screens only make pixel bigger, they don't add "space" to use. (:

Actually, they do. Larger screens have a larger angular size at the same distance. No one wants to press their damn nose against their monitor...

Because you can scale basically everything, a larger screen with an identical resolution lets you scale things to a comfortable angular size, which takes up *less* space on the screen.

Tried Eve on 60", 70" and 80" touchscreens. Have to physically step across to reach both sides of the 80".

Normally just play on dual 19" @ 1080P.

Ah yeah I didn't think of people scaling the UI down.
My words are still valid for my case, though, because I am at 90%.

I've stopped reading the menus long ago. It's either muscle memory or
fast pattern matching at a glance for which I don't need to be able to read the text clearly.

I am weird that way but I love 'em small and highres.

I use dual ASUS 24" LED monitors. With my setup and space, that's as large as I need 'em.

2x 23" 1920x1080

hoping to upgrade that soon™ especially given how my phone and tablet both have the same resolution and much smaller screens. the difference in pixel density gets noticeable.

Using an ancient 1900x1200 monitor, really wanted to upgrade for ages but it's impossible to decide. I'm not going 4k for at least another 2 years when Nvidia release Pascal cards, don't want to upgrade to 2k because I'd need to rebuild my PC to run games ultra settings.
