Marauders ... Holy Cow!

A couple of months ago I posted a thread trying to decide if training for a marauder was worth it. I decided to pass since EFT just wasn't showing a noticeable difference over a pirate BS.

But I kept noticing that a lot of knowledgeable players are using Marauders so I trained for a mostly T2 Vargur running a permaboost MSB.

Wow! What a different experience than running a Machariel.

No matter what the threat level, it's just warp in / bastion up if needed / and announce, "Come at me M__F__'s.

They are rather ridiculous, they allow a perma LSB if you fit right

It took me a minute to get used to the slightly lower bounties, but man they are awesome. 00

I have 3 out of 4, training Large hybrid 5 right now for kronos.

TBH though, I flew the Mach like that on most missions anyway. The exception I can think of is "The Assault". Otherwise I would just pop something from each group so that they would all come a little closer. Dread guristas invuln and Gist xl-b. I still run that combo on my shield marauders.

Came thinking this thread was about Harry Caray..left disappointed.

To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.

...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.
