Why did Diana Kim murder that dude in his office after the conference ended?

One known fact. Diana Kim was not in the facility at the time of Doctor Sarain's murder. It is under investigation by the proper authorities and I highly recommend you retract your libelous statement. You are not an official investigator, therefore I recommend you keep your suspicions to yourself when you don't have all the facts

Where ever Diana goes - A trail of bodies follows.

That you believe you can make a valid argument when you possess literally no information regarding the incident or any investigation following it is quite an audacious belief.

The facts don't support your theory. The only thing you are doing at this point is making a fool of yourself.

Monsieur Ronin,

The consideration of slavery and its practice is a topic under discussion at the conference and there are Matari involved. However, please understand that the conference has no more power to force the abolition of slavery than it does to force the Federation to reconstruct itself a constitutional monarchy.

The discussions being undertaken are for the express purpose of outlining grievances and finding possible, workable solutions to address those grievances and then using that outline to carve a path to peace. The conference was not created under the false presumption that it maintained any official power or authority and is instead operating under the capacity of a collective group of volunteers coming together to take the first steps in honestly addressing the notion of peace.

If the participants of this conference come to a workable solution and follow it, perhaps that example will exact positive change in the cluster. Regardless of the outcome, it is a goal worth undertaking.

Maybe Kim wasn't there, but there was at least one other pilot loyal to her there.

Either way, how is the investigation going? Many of us would really like to know who is responsible.

Needless to say a condition of peace in the cluster must include abolition of the foul slavery trade and fair compensation for all victimized by it.

If you can not directly address this most serious issue in a forthright manner who would believe you capable of addressing any new emergent threat to the entire cluster?

If being an apologist for the slavery cult is what you are peddling you will find few takers amongst the Matari people. Not being a government representative I need not use the verbal guile of diplomats, and warn you that the enemy of my enemy may prove to be an ally, so do not expect me to rule the new threat to you and me as a greater threat to me than what currently enslaves billions of Matari.

One must have priorities, and the current reality of slavery represents the greatest threat to the Matari people. If others in the cluster like the Caldari and the Slavery Cultists of Amarrr now feel in jeopardy do not hold your breath waiting for the Matari to make them safe before we free our own first.

This is why peace can never be achieved. Everytime people get together for peace, one group tries to change another's very culture.

We must both put away our differences, and accept them. If you people are going to keep pushing for abolition, don't ever expect peace. It is a part of our Culture, and we know that God gave the Holders the right to own and hold slaves for the purpose of guiding them to Him.

If you try to make us put away our slavery, you are trying to make us put away God. And that, Pilot, is no way to have peace.

Would you think it would be right for Nation to use the exact same argument? I am sure the Matari view your Religious reasons just as valid as you view our cultural ones.

I wonder if any delegates are representing the interests of Thera and those who choose to live there?

I have to say that I regret not paying closer attention to formation of the conference as I would have gladly offered myself up as a delegate both for Thera and the EvE-Scout Enclave.

As stated earlier this mostly focuses on empire politics and concerns. Untamed and Capsuleer space is much harder and so is out of the scope of the current Conference. Though I am sure over all peace is still desired by many who attend.

The Sansha are beasts and heretics to be destroyed. We are His servants and His soldiers.

I can appreciate and respect that.

I only ask as Mr. Onzo earlier stated he would be representing wormhole space in general. Thera is, of course, a wormhole but it is also much more. It is an interstellar waystation bridging the Empires together with Null and WH space. In one sense you could consider Thera a security risk, as it facilitates the fast movements of fleets into the heart of Empire space.

All that being said, I look forward to conference continuing and seeing some of the results.

The irony in this moronic statement is so thick that it must be cut with a laser.

You don't want anyone telling you how to live, what to do or believe yet, have absolutely no problem with telling the rest of the cluster that we need to be enslaved and eventually become your servants? Are you imperials so blinded by your own bullshit that you really don't see the hypocrisy here?

The Cluster does need to be our servants, but His.

But we will give them time to turn to Him. I'm simply stating that no man should even try to change the Empire's god-given right without expecting war.

From dodging to ignoring.

Is Pilot Arcashiri a delegate in the PPC? If so I think there might be a problem.

Not getting down on your religion. I just don't have that many ***ks to give.

So here's peace. You free every Matari in the Empire. You provide us 700 years worth of reparations...something nice like say, the Bleaks. You stay the **** out of our space. You stay the ***k out of everyone else's space. Then you can paint yourself purple and play Master n Servant to your heart's content.

No abolition? No peace.

The Press Office would like to once again request that the debating and arguing be kept to within the conference and this thread remain clear for purposes of communication related to the conference itself.

Debates regarding matters that should be handled within the commissions should be relegated to discussion there.

Discussion of Sansha's Nation has been addressed already and we would kindly request that the topic not be brought up again as it only serves to distract from the purpose of this thread and the conference.

Your continued cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Announcements pertaining to the murder of Doctor Sarain will be made when there is concrete information to provide as we wish to leave speculation and rumors out of the realm of discussion at this time.

Thank you.

I am indeed a Delegate.

From a point of view not my own, one might say that even the most extreme views must be represented.

And to Jili Tonari, don't ever, ever expect that to happy. You and I both know it is wishful thinking.

No Religion, No Peace.

Your Lordship,

It is with great disappointment I see you continue to respond to debate outside of the commissions, despite our request that you do not do so.

Please, for the sake of this conference, keep discussions of this nature within it.

Alright. This conversation about Slavery and Religion shall continue in the Thread "Abolition and Religion".
