Launcher not working for one single account - strange GUI bug

Hi,
since about 6-8 months I'm experiencing a strange bug with the launcher.
This happens only for one single account - when I try to log in other accounts, it works perfectly.
In the meantime I reinstalled EVE and the OS several times, it didn't help at all.

The launcher looks like this when the bug is happening:

It always happens after I do the following:
- Start launcher
- select the account
- type in password
- press Enter
Immediately the whole GUI disappears and only the things visible on my screenshot are left. Logging in is not possible until I restart the launcher several times - after many tries sometimes it works as it should.

As I already said, with my other accounts this never happens at all.

Any advice on how to fix this bug? Its a really annoying thing having to restart the launcher all the time just to log in....
