Introducing EVE-Summit.com!

First off, welcome to the BETA launch of EVE-Summit.com. After nearly a year of development, EVE-Summit.com has finally entered its first stage of BETA. This BETA launch focuses on our EVE Online news and our SSO based social networking platforms. Both of these portions of the website require a user to sign up with the EVE SSO authorization method to post or comment. This is to verify that users are not being misrepresented and allows further customization including filtering and privacy between players.
In addition to our news and social networking platform, you can view our Twitch.tv live stream via our index page or via the summit stream tab in the top of the tool bar. The Index page also host a live server status feed as well as a CREST market data stock ticker that features the most basic EVE Online market items, as well as a few of my favorites.
Some of the future features of the website can be viewed on various pages throughout the website as we progress through our planned BETA patch release plan. When clicking on an item not currently fully released, you will be redirected to a custom 404 that details what the upcoming patches will entail.

Summit Social SSO Platform –
The Summit Social SSO Platform features easy to use SSO based networking portal for all EVE Online characters. Through SSO, we are able to verify ownership of characters, giving a truly authentic user experience where you can communicate with players in your corporation, alliance, and even user created groups, as well as with any other enemy corporations, alliances or players in the game. BETA 1.1 features a home page where you can find out what anyone in your SSO network is up to, a dedicated character profile page, a custom messages page for private message between friends and groups of friends, a notifications page that operates in real time, and a custom settings page where you can modify all of your privacy settings. BETA 1.1.1 will be released shortly with filters for private and public posting options for corporations and alliances.
Since this is an early BETA release, there are bound to be bugs that pop up. If you find any, please send a detailed report to admin@summit-games.com

Our BETA launch party is currently underway and will last from May 20th at 6pm GMT to the 27th at 6pm GMT. During the BETA celebration, we will be marathon live streaming as much as possible through Twitch.tv, where we’ll be giving away PLEX, keyboards, mice, headsets, and mouse mats. We will be playing EVE Online as well as a load of other games such as CS:GO, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, WoW, Portal, as well as a few older gems. If you’re a fan of free PLEX, and don’t mind watching terrible gamers play, head over to twitch.tv/yoursherpa to take part.
