Bucking conventional wisdom though is that if re-enforcements do arrive and you get scrammed, you are probably gonna die anyway -- so shield-nimbleness for the GTFO on the deemer (or Panther) is priority...

I am looking at those six mids on the Sin with envy now though.

Not for the faint hearted wallet wise, but that's BLOPS if done right IMHO.

You can always downgrade/remove the point/web for tracking or TP if your buds are bringing tackle, as well as swap the Gecko's for cheaper drones. On the plus side armor is double the EHP of the shield fit, but very sluggish -- expect to brawl afterward, so a slave pod that takes EHP to 3x of shield is worth considering.

p.s.
Keep a full rack of Heavy Unstable Power Flucts in cargo, and refit from lazors to those before jumping in if your target is a Rattler or other brick-tanked mofo.

Back when I was flying BLOPS the big thing was speed while submerged (ie cloaked).

If you couldn't do at least 500 m/s under cloak they looked at you funny.....

Everything in EVE is a trap.

Any reason why t1 rigs? Was this fit from before t2 rig prices took a nose dive?

Yeah, purely cost...saves only 200m isk now it looks like, which isn't a whole lot..so yeah.
