Pawpaw is a rather largish but highly fragile fruit. Native to the northeast of the US. Due to it's fragility it is seldom seen or marketed. It's like this big bean shaped pod with roughly the displacement of a cantelope, but it tastes like and has the texture of banana custard. The covering of the fruit is somewhat like a peach skin and has difficulty managing its own bulk without breaking or tearing.

Very tasty. (don't eat the seeds as a pawpaw tree will grow in your belly and most likely lead to major surgery or death)

Pawpaw is delicious. I have several trees growing atm although the season has ended now Sad. Also they don't just come in yellow I have a tree that is growing red ones at the moment somehow.
