[PETITION] Finish the Aeon please.

While I'm at it.

Can we please get a finished AEON model.

We are getting new skins for all of these ships. Green Naglfars. Black Avatars (lol)

Aeon looks like the designer hit his monthly pixel limit. "Damn, I literally have no more pixels left, good enough for EVE."

I jest. But seriously. Every other Amar ship is a work of art and Aeon is only half done.

Please finish Aeon.

Not supported. The Aeon is perfect as it is.

The Aeon is a fortress with an impregnable wall of gold facing the enemies on the field. Behind that wall, fighters, fighter bombers, frigates and other small ships can hide and receive maintenance and repair without interference from enemy fire. No other SCap offers this benefit and I strongly advocate against a change to that.

And before you give me your rubbish about "useless feat", "doesn't work", "makes no sense for capsuleer fights": The Aeon is older than these puny, useless capsuleers. The Aeon is employed by the Amarr Empire forces used in that way. What capsuleers think about war, can be introduced by ships designed by them, not for ships that pre-date their very existence.

It looks like a cutaway drawing from the "Illustrated Aeon: Issue 16"

Now if we just had a second wall on the other side of the ship, so that our fighters could hide behind two walls that would be twice as good. Then think about how great it would be if there was a third wall on top of the ship. Think of how safe our ships would be to make repairs? Wait a second...that almost looks like a finished...... enclosed ship......almost like a fighter bomber carrier....a mothership even. Hrmmm.

Its so much easier to fly a damaged ship into a small hole on a ship than to hide behind it :P

Having your enemies on the left side and slightly below you (based on the Aeon) will show a HUGE gold brick wall, the cost to "finish" the ship would be almost equal to what it cost to build now, unless you want paper thin make belive walls to protect you.

Its designed to look alot larger than it actualy is, very strong physcological effect when your enemy have that massive gold wall behind their fleet repairing them and sending fighters/bombers to attack you.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices
