Stocking a hangar in Jita 4-4 with ships is easy, all it takes is RMT or incursion grinding. The courage to undock in those is sold separately.

Come back when you can afford to fly them tbh. Desperately spamming this pic of docked spacepixels as if its somehow impressive is poor. The fact you need an alt poster to do it on is even worse.

You sir are the unavoidable decline and death of EVE. (Me too)

EVE is a PvP game and nobody can be bothered or motivated to PvP.

The reason you and I have butt tons of ISK isn't because it's easy to get, it's because we see no reason to spend it.

IDK that you are entirely correct with your assessment

I started eve as a miner and moved up through what I viewed was the natural progression. I am now looking to PvP in the traditional sense, though I lack the experience or knowledge to do so well and my view of the risk-reward for blindly thrusting myself into FW (as a suicide tackle much as I had done in my early days of eve; no offense to the FW guys either) or the NBSI asshattery of piracy is poor. Also, I don't count high-sec Wardecs (IMHO they fall more under asshattery and piracy than what I think they were intended to which is why I believe CCP has essential signed off on the dec-shield) or dropping "1v1 frigs" cans in a trade hub as PVP.

I want to participate and "play eve the way it was intended" though it at times seems insurmountable for the little guy without becoming someones pet. I have made it through the border camps and "seen the wonders to behold" in 0.0, though if I pursue my desires to one day achieve Sov as well as have my very own "Chribba's Cottage"-style Outpost I will need to train skills for another 6-12 months to effectively be able to compete in 0.0 PvP or just bend over for someone who's already there (I don't mind waiting if that is what is needed, but I would rather be an equal instead of someone's *****). I know of several systems where I could drop a TCU right now if I wanted to, but to do so would be like 8th-grade class nerd going up to the 17y/o jock in his class and slapping him in the mouth.

Anyway, back to what I was saying

I'd wager that there are many players out there who feel the same as me, at least, I'm betting that there are more of them than most people think lurking in the crowd of carebears milling around high-sec.

As you have seen from the threads direction, EVE is a pissing contest. What is rich? Multi billionaire? Multi trillionaire? Multi quad trillionaire with faction fit one of a kind l33t toys?

Oh and if you think you will be any more than just a better pet in 6-12 months, you are sadly mistaken. There are people out there willing to spend thousands of dollars a year to play EVE, some willing to spend thousands a month. Just like asking us to go from null Sov members back to high sec mission runners is absurd, us expecting CCP to ever give the guy spending $45 a month on EVE more than a passing glance is unrealistic. If you want to be the little corp that could, you will be shot down, told you can't work with others and you fail at EVE. In truth your just smarter than those caught up in the pissing contest so enjoy your anonymity and go claim Sov on test. The Vid caps look just as good, trust me.

Well, I struggle for money - you could always advise us "poor folk" on how to be rich like you...

In another thread somewhere I pointed out, you have two options. Years of brain bleeding grind or Plex. Wealth in EVE comes from the same place it comes from in the real world. People make money, money makes wealth. Set aside ISK you never plan to spend. It is to be used to create wealth. If that pile gets big enough it can create billions at a time. It's proven in RL. Poor stay poor, rich stay rich. For the above mentioned reasons. They have wealth creating stocks of money.

Yes, these are your only two options. There is no way to make isk other than grinding or Plexing in Eve.

Carry on, nothing to see here.

Moon goo doesn't count. I'm talking about the other 99% of EVE. All other methods involve my said ingredients. Money to make money. You can't manufacture if you are broke. You cant run Incursions if you are broke, you can't do most things in EVE if you are broke. But don't hesitate to derail good advice for the purpose of winning the forums.

Everyone who plays this game to max out there "gear score", gold and standings will inevitably come to the same result. This is a sandbox in which we create our own content. Eve has very little to offer the theme-park style player.

pvp is your answer. If you catch that addiction you'll never worry again about having too fat of a wallet Lol

EDIT: pvp doesn't have to mean shooting other folks' ships. You could try some price manipulatin in Jita, or go to a lesser hub, and try to drive the current market suppliers out thru price competition.

OR, you could pick a nice spot with an underdevelped population, and try to create a thriving neighborhood by injecting cash locally with well-priced buy orders for raw materials produced by players, and sell the basics on the market at reasonable prices ( either by trading and transporting them in, or buy building them yourself with the materials you buy )

there's lots of kinds of player vs. player. Doesn't have to involve bullets and lasers.

If I were you I would open up a restocking venture enterprise for Low Sec. Say something near amamake, if you can manage to bring in PLENTY of t1 frigs, turrets, ammo and regular pvp modules in a low sec system and keep it fed, you would not only be able to revitalize a low sec sector, it would make pew pew increase around and you will see traffic soar.

This has been one of my dreams since day one, but alas, Im poor :*(

But I envision that the only way to make low sec thrive in these days is by player driven content alone, since CCP is a bit biased regarding Lo Sec.

It's risky, has no real benefits since you could spend your money more wisely, but keeping key low sec sectors restocked with cheap stuff, even below jita prices if you can get bulk deals , would make the deserted islands amidsts the sharks more fun.

Yes, people would perhaps buy and resell for profit, pirates might permacamp certain gates, and on and on with all the negativity. But think about it, since you are so rich why not make other players happy?

If they buy everything you have right away, restock, do it regularly and perhaps even a new market (of sorts) might begin in these areas.

Low Sec is lonely ...
