smartbomb kill - no killmail

have encountered little problem i've found a J114408 c4 wh and there was pos with ships. i picked up prorator and stashed it in hs , then came back to pickup my prospect that left on site. left my punisher whichw as blew up by bomber . i came back with smartbombing frigate and in revenge popped some shuttles but did not recevie killmail. why is that are smartbombs bugged/banned from generating killmails in wormhole space?

Because the ships had not been piloted since downtime, thus were not tied to a valid entry able to generate a killmail. If they had dropped / been piloted before the last downtime, they would have generated killmails.

iirc ships launched from an sma or a wreck of an sma without being boarded generate no killmail

well shuttles were dropped there already when i came with prospect. i boarded prorator and got into hole and then to highsec. tower in J114408 is now being unanchored . and it belongs to bleu water holdings, . atleast bob blessed m with new clean prorator.

as for shuttles one of them was boarded by viator pilot that was near. i killed all shuttles and should have 1 killmail but doesnt matter. it was just fun to try pvp with smartbombing imicus :D

It has nothing to do with downtime.

If the ship was ejected from an SMA, it has no last pilot, thus it will not generate a killmail.
If the ship is floating in the POS, with a last pilot, no matter how long ago that pilot ejected from the ship, it will generate a killmail.

ok. that explains all then why didnt get any killmails. howewer was fun .

this isn't true at all. I have several kills that have a corporation instead of a player as the victim. however I have never personally tested it on a ship that was abandoned before downtime and killed it after downtime. I will have to do this and see if it remains true or if it generates no killmail after the server restart

EDIT it does not show up on killbaords however
