Question about corps in alliance!

So i had to have my main toon join ABA instead of my corp joining ABA cause there was a 24hour timers to get corps into the alliance. Which means i would of missed the deadline for corps being in the alliance. Now my question is, can i now rejoin my corp since its in the alliance and my main toon was in the alliance before the Date. While still being able to participate in the Torny?

The deadline for consideration has already passed (11:00UTC on 2015-05-14). If you weren't in the correct corporation and alliance at that time and didn't submit a support ticket before that date, then unfortunately you're not going to eligible to participate.

Why not? He's not changing alliance, he's just changing corp within alliance. If eligibility is tied to just character-alliance pair, this case should not be breaking any conditions.

That's my understanding, also - so long as you are in the alliance before the deadline, which corp you are in after the deadline doesn't matter so long as you've not left the alliance. I know this came up last year, and have a vague memory of it coming up a year or so prior. It's somewhere here on the forums but I've not been able to find the exact post yet.

Logibro, can you please provide clarification/confirmation regarding inter-alliance corp changes? Because if I'm reading your response right above, that sounds like a change in policy.

In other words: If a character is in the alliance before the deadline, changing corps within the alliance (but not leaving the alliance) after the deadline does not (or does?) affect arena eligibility.

Seems when I first replied I misinterpreted what he was saying.

As in the past, players may freely move within an alliance and still maintain eligibility. Note that this does include moving to corporations within the alliance that either joined or were founded after the cutoff date.
