Solo living?

So I've been in Wormbro for nearly 2 months now and I'm interested in starting an alt and putting him in a wormhole. I know a little bit but I have a lot of questions on the subject.

1. What kind of wormhole class is best for solo play. I am planning on getting in a rattlesnake but for now I'm planning on c3'snin a Gila. I was thinking about a c4 with a c3 static but I want to live in the hole where I run my sites. However I'm worried if I live in a c3 I will get a lot of visitors from Kspace. What wormhole would you recommend for running c3 sites?

2. About how much does it keep a small POS going per month?

3. What kind of defenses do I need to keep from dissuading those who would evict me. I know that if a corp wants my system I can't stop them. I want to prevent a c4 corp from rolling into me and evicting me for ***** and giggles.

How feasible is it to attempt this with no alts. I just can't afford to pay for three chars a month.

Most feasible solo choice is a confessor in a c13.

PS: You can reinforce a small POS within an hour using something like 4 oracles. Since 400mil/month or what it is for a large POS is quite insignificant compared to your hourly income, would do that one or expect the small one to be RFd and prepare accordingly by storing your loot in a cargo container and keeping a nullified ship like a ceptor at hand in case you'll find yourself rapecaged.

Even if you could afford 3 characters, they couldn't stop a 10 man fleet from crashing your POS. But, you need at least 2 so you can leave your wh every once in awhile and be pretty positive you can find your way back.

In My Opinion:
Put up a small tower, and consider it a 'throw away'. Don't leave a ton of stuff in it.
Recruit pilots when you can. Solo in a wh will get old real fast.

I thought about a c13 and I decided it would suck to wait to train into an Orca. I need 3 ships or so to do what I want to do. I guess I could do a large I'm just a little bit apprehensive about starting so large w/ no experience,

Yep my plan is to make a second char on the account as a way back in. And I'm not worried about recruiting or getting bored. My main is still gonna be in Wormbro. This is just a nice little supplemental income.

Solo C3 with a LS static is a pretty quiet life. There certainly are visitors, but it depends where the static is that day. It's up to you to know your connections and know the general activity in your static to decide if it's a good PvE day. The money is pretty decent for a solo player, with home sites at 40-50mil, Null relic and data sites, decent gas, opportunities to pew in LS, etc. Always leave an alt in the hole, even if it's a 0 skill gallente guy in an imicus.
Small towers are ~2mil/day i think, and LS gives you decent opportunities to fuel.

Do the C13.

First: Bring in a cloaky ship and make a metric **** ton of safe spots.
Next: Bring in an industrial ship, anchor a bunch of freight containers at safe spots as you see fit (one for loot, one for ammo, one for mods, etc.)
Almost done: Run sites until you are out of crystals, have run all the sites, or your loot can is full.
Finally: Haul all your stuff out and enjoy making bank.

Actually I plan to do this as well in a Sleipnir along with 3 other alts: a scanner, salvager/T2 transporter and booster. I believe in order for a solo player to live in a C2/C3 WH without fear of getting evicted regularly you should set up a Amarr Large Pos focused on pure defenses. The only thing I'd leave in the POS is ammo, cap boosters, some fitting mods and some T1 scanning ships. And make sure all the chars that you send in the WH have basic scanning skills.

Just do a large pos and find a wormhole with good PI. PI will cover the fuel cost. Put it in a c4-c2/c3 or something as that give you easy access to soloable content. Easy HS and logistic and very low chance of being evicted. Just learn to be vigilant and keep an eye/scout around on stuff.
