Oh.. and because reasons, a less powerful AoE explosion a few seconds afterwards. We can call it the GTP module. That acronym was chosen at random, and is merely coincidental that it matches up with 'get the pod'.

Also, never label actual self destruct buttons. People cant resist pushing buttons. The bigger, the redder, the more covered in protective glass, the more covered with signs that read 'do not push under penalty of death' a button is, the more people want to push it. That's a scientific fact. Also, heroes tend to easily find those buttons and push them, making it really hard to maintain a station for evil purposes. Its also a scientific fact that if you claim something is a scientific fact, it has more credibility.

The proper way to do a self destruct button is to have a normal looking button in an inconspicuous place, like a calculator in a desk drawer covered with a greasy film of dust. No one wants to play with a calculator.. except maybe to punch in the obligatory 58008, so as long as the button isn't one of those you're probably fine.

As for the decoy button, yes, you need a decoy button, just have the button look like a typical tuxfordesque self destruct button, clearly labeled as such, put in a publicly displayed area. Upon pressing of the button, it kills the person who presses it. Any problem literally solves itself.

You forgot the part about first explaining your entire evil plan, outing all your spies, because the plan is already in motion and cannot be stopped.

As for a self destruct button.. OFCOURSE there should be one.. and yes OFCOURSE it should unleash a massive explosion around the station.. but it will have to have a nice 30 second countdown, and explode at 13 seconds instead of 0.
This countdown should also be clearly visitble on the outside, either with huge billboards, or being piped into everyone's audio with Aura's voice saying: Warning, Self destruct Activated, Citadel will explode in 27 seconds, please evacuate immediately.

I should be able to blow it up in a frig in one volley if i disable my hud first.
