I don't see what the big deal is... the payouts are terrible.

I wont click on that link because I don't know that site but can I ask this?

WTH is imgur? What is wrong with using Imageshack these days? Have I missed something important on the internets?

Imgur doesn't require a registration.

Picture could probably NOT be 500 Maelstroms in a Sanctum ::WhiteNoise::

probably popped up as part of twitter only having 160 character limits. same as bit.ly and other sites of that nature.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I guess I ought to do my reserarch.

I am just wary as I have seen quite a few of these image hosting sites rise and fall over time. Imageshack still has images from a decade ago. And no you don't have to register to upload it is just that it is a bit of a PITA to get the direct image link.

Edit: Arlight I clicked on it. I like the layout of its image showing. And the wikipedia article on it leaves me a bit less concerned. It is just that what assurance do we have that its not going to suddenly go bankrupt and the image links bought by some idiot to serve spyware?

I know I know I am not being fair. I am just asking.

It is however, a picture of GoonSwarm related material. So you may get a virus that will blow up your computer and eat you in real life.

Same thing that has always been wrong with it: it's bloody awful in pretty much every way, especially in how it embeds images.

Imgur doesn't take three days to load, doesn't fill more screen space than the picture with adverts, doesn't throw five popups at me, and doesn't randomly crash the browser at times.

Firefox + Adblock Plus = All said problem vanishes. Get on with the program, quit using those IE6.

This thread is now about people advertising their ignorance of commonly used internet resources.

Just what the hell is this "Twitter" thing anyway? Will it give me a virus or something?

What is this internet thing you speak of?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Oh, so Xolve is one of those who don't group guns.

At all.

For shame, sir. For shame.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Typically when a fleet larger then your alliance gets together to annihilate a smaller fleet (still larger then your alliance) one turns down graphics, drops brackets, turns off shadows and gun effects and all that... in hopes that if you must be the one to have to load grid, you can do it in a timely manner (i.e. not in 16 minutes).
