Did the change to Distribution missions kill the bots/RMTers ?

When the mining and transportation missions were seperate it was possible to look up lvl 4 transportation agents and go around to the different locations and note the characters coming and going. Adding them to contacts and watching them you could learn who was on 23/7 in about 3 days. Then a little further research and documentation and you had a good case to present to CCP.

I found about 20 bots/RMTers that way before I quit looking because it was a hell of alot of work with no reward. Often some locals suspected the bots/RMTers but didn't say anything....they didn't have time or else didn't know how to make a case. Couple times i found 2 or 3 characters created on the same day in the same same school flying the same ship ( usually Bestowers) running the lvl 4s out of the same station...meaning they had been deliberately created to bot/RMT.

CCP always made them dissapear the next day when i presented documentation but like i said it was work.

My question now is , since i haven't looked for months did any of you locals who suspected bots/RMTers notice them dissapearing after the change to Distribution missions ?

No.

They probably found something else by now.

Nullspace ratting bots sanctioned by the holder of the space they are running in is the new botting/RMT rage.

We knew of a few in Jakanerva system and a few jumps out in any direction. We actually ganked them a few times. Some were reported others were not.

I havent spotted one in a while. TBH I have no clue what happened.

botting will stop when the game is made so that grinding doesn't have to be the only true isk faucet in the game, or the ways the current isk faucets work no longer require grinding.

I suspect that the change is what happened..i have no proof. This is a new toon studying manufacturing and is very limited in what it can do. Transportation is really the only thing it can do as far as missions so that is how I happened to notice this.

Wether CCP deliberately combined transportation / mining to twart bots/RMTers i don't know but I bet it had this effect.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Does anyone who accuses their disliked 0.0 alliances of botting have proof? Or is it just propaganda meant to fire up the base (like how a while ago "everyone knew" that BOB had the developers helping them and Goons were really out to destroy the game)?

There is no proof, because if you ask them if they are a bot, they always reply back in russian and no one knows how to translate it.

The translation from Russian is always easy:

They are playing SW-TOR

Except the stupid ones, they are farming gold in Skyrim. I was going to tell them but I thought... ya know?
