Problem with online launcher

Hey guys,

I don't know if this is an ongoing issue but I'm still having issue's with the Online Launcher.

When I open the launcher, everything loads like normal i.e. the background art, news and advertisement panels ect. . That is as far as it will go. The launcher will allow me to log on but will not allow me to play. the play button stays grey.

I've run the repair tool and cleared the cashe with no results. I can log in and play by using the exe. file in the CCP bin folder.

It's not really a huge deal but it is sort of annoying.

Anyone else with this issue ?

I hate this launcher. Sometimes you have to wait almost 5 min before it starts EVE. After you log in you just have to wait untill it starts the game.

Heh, I was pretty drunk when it worked so im not sure if it was actually what fixed it but I noticed the laucher is a browser with forward and back options in the right click menu, last time mine got stuck I just right clicked and chose back and then right clicked and chose forward forcing the application to refresh the page and that fixed it. Like I said not sure if that actually did anything but it's worth a try.

Thanks for the workaround.

I tried it and it took about five minutes for the launcher to load up and finally let me log in. Time will tell if this works.
