SCOPE Evidence From Hilen Tukoss: DRIFTER INVASIONS IMMINENT!

So this video seems to be pointing to a rather bleak future for mortal and non-mortals alike.

I observed several things in this video, and subtle as they are, I think their important.

A. The nebula in the background match the nebulae from Thera and some other Shattered Systems.
B. Massive Sleeper type structure surrounded by Drifter, which Hilen is circling.
C. Hilen transmission records alarms indicating rapid loss of shield, armor, and hull damage before the transmission terminates.

Conclusions:

A. Drifters are amassing in unknown W-Space location.
B. Hilen Tukoss is either dead or captured.
C. DED are trying to down play the issue to prevent a panic.

Speculation for the future:

A. Drifters are going to invade somewhere.
B. Empires and/or DED will declare martial law.
C. Entosis Link may be used on structures in W-Space or elsewhere to locate coordinates for the construct or other previously hidden sleeper outposts.

Chime in with you all's thoughts!

I find it interesting that the same Tukoss who had been missing for quite some time and recently turned back up is again in the, how shall I say it, the spotlight. It is disturbing that DED and CONCORD are trying to hush this up as well as their attempts to intimidate the Scope personnel.

We capsuleers may not always be the most humane, but one would think that with our combined resources we would be better capable of seeking out Tukoss' last position and discover the staging area the Drifters appear to be using.

I think we certainly need to redouble our efforts get a better handle on the uses of the Entosis link and figure out how to adopt the Drifter tech that is allowing them to stabilize wormholes for their private use. That is one avenue that may lead us directly to where Tukoss is being held, if he still lives, and have the added benefit of possibly giving us technology to stabilize (even create?) wormholes for our own purposes.

I think my prediction won't be too far from the mark =)

TLDR:

  1. DED/CONCORD **** off the Drifters
  2. Drifters blow up Yulai's star with the same weapon that caused Caroline's Star
  3. Gate and communication networks (local) goes down until capsuleers can repair it (maybe with E-links), meanwhile we get around by way of wormholes.
  4. Sleepers invade via wormholes and mop up CONCORD, which are reduced to faction status and don't police anymore
  5. The empires have to control their own space against criminals now, but are unable to match CONCORD's ability and allow capsuleer assistance in raising sec level of systems (occupancy empire)

I think the large structure in the video is the Caroline's Star super weapon, and they're getting ready to use it again!

And no, EVE is not dying, it's being reborn like the Phoenix Twisted

Assuming that the Drifters were not already planning to do that to CONCORD - they might have simply ramped up their schedule given the investigation into and resistance against the Drifters, it would certainly make sense as a means to disrupt everyone. But to what end? Surely they would then expect us to then ramp up our own R&D into stabilizing and even creating wormholes. It would be a bold move that not even the Sansha attempted - though given the occasion they fleed Oasa through the normal gate network, they might not have the same level of confidence the Drifters have in the wormhole tech.

I certainly hope it does not! The story is just getting more interesting. :D

It just occurred to me, is that the same structure valed in smoke and gases from the Emergent Threat Video where the Seekers were making Drifters from harvested Jove bodies? Maybe that's why they dismanteled the observatories. To fix that thing ( Big structure).

This could be the same one or a different object. Looks like the size of an Iapetan Titan to me.

/rp off completely here: the structure reminds me of the Taidan Base ship from HomeWorld.

I just reviewed both videos, those are indeed the same kind of cofiguration. Both videos have the structure or ship class which ever it may be.

I stick with my Theory previously posted.

The Other has taken full control of The Construct, and the Sleepers.
Awakened Sleepers (some of the new spawns on Sisi have the prefix Awakened) went to the Jove for Help.
Jove have provided them with a means to resist, but were attcked at Caroline's Star.
Either from fallout from the attack, or as a means to defend/secure themselves, the gate network in Jove Space is down. (They already had WH Jamming Tech to keep Sleepers, and Sansha out)
Drifters are using the logs from the Outposts to gather information on New Eden, and to pinpoint targets that are controlled or otherwise influenced by The Other. ( Amarr, I'm looking at you. )
Now the Drifters are massing in prep to attack The Other.

This also explains the increased activity in Amarr space, and their weirder behavior there, given that Jymal is a puppet of The Other.
If they were working WITH/FOR The Other/Sleepers, they would be more likely to focus on the Gal, which is the biggest opposing block to Amarr domination of New Eden.

That or Drifters are actually Goons, and this is how they are gonna Burn Amarr :)

The DED fascists have arrested Lina Ambre and Gaunia Octeyncaere from the SCOPE. They are clearly trying to hide something.

As I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade...
Recalling all of the times:
I have died

It's all right.

6. Eve Online becomes one of those games where every new player has 20 no-lifers waiting to pounce on them the second they undock. Eve dies a quick death, gets replaced with sparkle vampires, then everybody else dies a slow death out of pure disgust.

I'm not sure about concord disappearing or being nerfed, as eve need a high sec. I can see the game is moving toward having player build stargates, for unknown reason concord is going to allow these gates, or even jump drives / static cynos beacons from player structures.

What probably CCP is doing is far beyond changing the game aggro mechanics in the empire, I think it's more along the lines of malfunctioning stargates and drifters incursions, CCP is going to touch heavly on empire logistic.

Think a second about it, what's more deep gaming wise, you being able to freely engage people like you do in low sec, just with the interference of faction police, or having player build station, used to jump or cyno away around drifter sieges and system lockdowns, with all the possible gameplay of disrupting player operation, put up cyno jammers, conquer stations and ultimately shoot people in the face because of defending or attacking said stations?

Also remember, at fanfest they said all the station services are going away, why is that? How is that? Is it related to next iteration of entosys being able to alter system indexes (mining, industrial, ratting, etc)? Are sleepers going to use entosys like we do to conquer and/or disable stations in empire and low sec?

You don't need concord nerfed to stir the water of this game, simply disable heavly the logistic, how you move your goods and how you base your operation, regardless you are the bearest of the bears or the most dreaded of the pirates, you need somewhere to store your stuff safely (even if you use a neutral alt), you need to move your stuff across systems, be it your shiny marauder for missions or your catalysts for ganking miners.

No, you don't need CONCORD nerfed or gone, I'm just using them as a logical enemy of the Drifters. They're the catalyst that causes the invasion in my story. Fear causes a lashing out, which causes a war, which changes everything. Sorta like the humans attacking the Minbari in Babylon5.

It could very well end up happening just like you or Sniper Smith or Petrified theorize. Either way, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this goes. It reminds me of the run-up to Apocrypha and the Seyelin Incident, but with much more detail and anticipation.

Also noted should be ticker at the bottom of The Scope piece on Tukos reporting that capsuleers are applying pressure on CONCORD with regards to their alliance registration. I postulate that should CONCORD be attacked by the Drifters then there would be a significant consolidation of CONCORD and DED in and around high security space to maintain 'law and order'. The significant benefit of this to capsuleers will simply be that CONCORD's ability to limit our actions will be curtailed.

There also must be other uses for the tech released by Carthum apart from their current application on the Jovian listening posts.

This screams of something lackluster coming from CCP. It's a great opportunity and a great idea but somebody at CCP will say "we can't let anything be too interesting because reasons" and they'll do the CCP thing and make this introduce 1 new SKIN or a new type of ore that refines into tears or a second form of lame highsec incursions. Or even just the entosis link.
