Dear master traders,

I am wondering if any of you can aid me with my google drive sheets.
The issue i am having is that I pull up market data from eve-central, but the prices do not match up with what i see in game.
What I suspect is a time lag between the servers of eve-central and what is happening in my game client

Can anyone confirm this, or please enlighten me why my sheets are not showing the real current prices?

This is the code i am using for example is the following:
=importXML("http://eve-central.com/api/marketstat?usesystem=30000142&typeid=642&typeid=643&typeid=24692","//type/sell/min")

Thanks for the aid!

Eve Central prices aren't real time, they can be anything up to 24 hours old due to the way in which the data is collected.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You might want to look into using CREST for up-to-date prices, though I don't think you'll be able to implement that in a google spreadsheet.

I read somewhere that eve-central was now using CREST to pull data. But what eve-central shows does not match CREST. Furthermore, what eve central shows on its website does not match what is available in its api feed, nor do they agree with the orders that they are showing right on their front page. I ran some calculations and found that they are doing some fuzzy math with their feed numbers, especially the high/low values.

I'm a little concerned with the way eve-central is massaging its numbers.
