High Standing w/ All Factions (including pirates): Is it possible?

I'm in the unique position where my main [see: only] character isn't below -1 standing with any faction. I've read through the "Faction Standings Repair Plan," and have noted the strategies therein, but can I achieve positive standing with all the factions?

If so, what should be my method?

With incredible effort, vast patience, and a rather (tongue in cheek) OCD level of dedication you can get pretty far. Time frames involved? Easily a few years at min. I'd guess conservatively somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-10yrs.

Method:

Play around with the standings repair plan, take advantage of the various epic arcs, have a combat alt.

It's MUCH easier if you're willing to sacrifice some degree of standing down either the Cal/Amarr or Gal/Min/SoE faction lines.

Plan. Plan, & be patient. Derived standings increases will be important too.

This is possible but need long time progress.
If you planing to do then here is my advice DO NOT destroy structures, especially sentries while doing missions. Otherwise it will give huge standing loss.

Luckily for op, drones are not a faction with standings. Op why would you do this? Just make a alt for pirate lp stores if you really care. Its a gigantic time sink and its bad enough just keeping all the highsec empires happy with you let alone pirates who barely matter for anything.

An alt., you say? No way. I'm a purist. Cool Though I don't much mind time sinks—I'm playing EvE, aren't I?

At the same time, I might check out what parts of space I frequent the very least and sacrifice some standing with the appropriate factions.

With all factions including pirates???

That might be a bit tall order indeed. lots of work and only enemies you would be able to shoot would be drones and sleepers. so it plausible for WH toons I guess.

Depending on your activity level this might take anywhere from few months to couple of years. For me personally it took a bit more over 3 years, but I rarely do any missions, just epic arcs every 3 months.

If you were to regularly run L4 missions you could do circle missions where you run amarr till storyline, then minmatar, then caldari, then gallente and keep it in check under assumption that you get more standings rise then loss. I've tested this and gets tricky over 5.0 standings since the ratio doesn't need to be one mission for each, you have to track standings and I've found it to be just to much of hassle :D

For epic arcs, with 2 toons (one dps, other dps or even noctis) you can easily push 100 mill per hour, average anywhere between 800-1300 million per arc and 4 arcs = 4 billion every 3 months, which is enough to keep those 2 toons plexed so that is a nice bonus, getting isk and standings for little effort of couple of hours every 3 months.

As others have said, it will take time, dedication and attentiveness to gain positive standings with almost all Factions. Getting all Empire Factions positive is relatively easy. You can also get positive standings with Angel, Guristas, Sansha and The Syndicate Pirate Factions easily enough via Epic Arcs since they don't give any derived standings.

Now if you build up high standings with Empire Factions, you can use that as a buffer to run the Cosmos Event Agents for Angel, Guristas and Thukker Tribe. Doing that will help raise the other Pirate Faction standings - Blood Raiders and Serpentis - with derived standing gains but will also incur negative standing hits towards all the other Factions. Thus the need for a high standing buffer.

Currently there's no way to gain Concord Faction standings even though Concord controls some high sec systems. According to my research, if you try to gain positive standings with Blood Raiders and Serpentis, you'll end up tanking Concord standings and more than likely Thukker Tribe as well. Thukker Tribe is basically hated by all Factions except Minmatar.

So in closing, you have 2 choices when deciding to have positive standings with almost all Factions.

Option 1 - Have Concord and Thukker Tribe positive with Blood Raiders and Serpentis negative.
Option 2 - Have Blood Raiders and Serpentis positive with Concord and Thukker Tribe negative.

Thanks for all your helpful answers, everyone.

I think my plan of action will be the one DMC posted above. I'll go with having CONCORD and Thukker Tribe posiive (as much as I want both Serpentis and Blood Raiders to be positive, I don't think it's wise to have a negative CONCORD). I'm going to start formulating a plan of action before I begin, because I want to start missioning soon.

Just to let you know it is possible as the previous few posts (sacrificing serpentis and blood raiders). I've got them all well over 5 unadjusted although I am struggling to think why the hell I wanted to do it and I wouldn't wish the process on anyone. It's laborious and not an overly interesting process to do with no practical benefit!

However bare in mind the entire process is rather head ache inducing unless you're very dedicated about it. You may accomplish the standings gains, but the isk gains are rather relative to market values and how you calculate earnings. As such run them for the standings, the isk returns may be variable.

To start the arc, you need 5.0 personal standings to either first mission agent, his corp or his faction. Other agents don't check standings, so it's just the first one.

I have really high empire faction + Gurista (Faction!) Level 4s from doing Smash and Grab 4 times.
