I got to thinking, what about doing a second event running parallel to it, aka gankagedon lol.

basic idea is have ship(s) deployed as bait, hulkagedon gankers show up, and people decloak recons T3's etc and gank the gankers lol, well goons and others have been supporting hulkagedon because it encourages highsec pvp, so why not flip it round and encourage all out pvp? :D

There are some problems with your idea. First is the bait ship. People often do scout out targets and there is a limit how well you can tank a typical target. When the gankers hit, you won't have time to uncloak and come to the rescue before it's all over. Second is the fact that the gankers will die anyway by CONCORD, so what exactly is the point of trying to gank their ships. If you hit after they start shooting it's likely too late and if you attack before they engage, all it would lead to is you being CONCORDED and giving them additional lols and loot. If you insist on wanting to counter gank them, it might be better to simply use a cheap, fast locking turret ship and shoot every pod you can after CONCORD has paid them a visit.

I like this, I propose making a high sec alliance just for this purpose.

Been done before...

Ther's no point to it really, since gankers die within seconds. The only thing you can really do is have ships with RR ready to support your mining ships / haulers, so that they won't manage to die , but will still die to concord.

I don't really find this idea appealing.

didnt goons just have a hulkageddon event recently? by my count we should be upto hulkageddon 7 or 8 by now

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

no as far as i know .. it was blue ice interdiction.

As per gankkagedon ..

even with 1000 bassilisks/scimitar and 1000 guardiands you will not safe an hulk from 2/3 tornados..
if bait hulk .. then just add few tornadoes more.. 5/6 ... deal done.
And even if you got your combat fleet ready.. and wait for their first strike you will not safe the hulk.. Big smile
It does not work that way..

best you can do if you are miner and you want mine is add to watchlist everyone who participated last seasons and are on the hulk high.sec KM... its about 20 people Big smile
