Well, I know, probally a dumb question. But I'm training to be a Legion pilot. I'm aware of the skills needed to "fly" it, but what other skills should I definately focus on? I'll be using it for PVE anomalies, so pve skills are a must. but also looking for the PVP skills for the oh sh*t situations. Thanks in advance. Also, looking for a friends corp :)

I guess no one is interested in helping a new pilot out :(

Engineering 5
Weapon Upgrades 5
Adv. Weapon Upgrades 4
Armor rigging 4/5
Energy rigging (The one for the guns) 4/5

Gunnery 5
Motion Prediction 4/5
Rapid Firing 4/5

Trajectory Analysis 4/5

Or Instead of Gunnery... Missiles
Heavy Assault Missile Spec. 4/5

Missile Projection 4/5
Missile Bombardment 4/5
Warhead Upgrades 4/5
Target Navigation Prediction 4/5

If you can, can you please post a fit you are aiming for.

I hope you meant "unnecessary to train past level 4 right away" as EANM are quite an important armor tanking module.

Unfortunately, you can build a PVE ship or a PVP ship that can get away with running PVE content.

Following the basic, undock what you can afford to lose, there is as well: commit to the idea that you *will kill or fire on* other player ships before you undock. Or do not, yet once undocked do not change your choice.

PVP skills for PVE activities? Not so much character skills as: Keeping local prominent and separate from your other chat windows, regular use of D-Scan depending on local population, keeping combat scanning probes in your overview, - about the only character skills: Thermodynamics for Overheating & Strategic Cruiser 4 or 5, perhaps Biology for boosters. The latter 2 character skills ought to be preserved for gtfo evasion scenarios where you may overheat afterburners to evade disruptor/scram lock ranges before warping out.

Precisely. Infact, these skills are invaluable. The Legion being Amarr is a cap-hungry ship. Armor comp skills at 5 allow you to get better resists from an resist-specific A-type energized membrane than a similar T2 hardener which sucks cap. Definitely train them all up to level 4.

The Legion and Tengu are the most isk efficient ships for killing Sleepers in C3 wormholes if you are solo. But if you are running anomalies in a Class 1 or 2 system, don't bother. A much cheaper Drake or HAC will do just as well.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot those. Sorry about that. As a shield tanker, I forget that the omni coverage module for armor is a passive one, so you will want to listen to Tau and train those armor comp skills.

Unless you're just running Vanguards with it, you'll want most of the Navigation skills at 4 or 5. The Legion is a great ship (No, really. It is!). One of the best things about it is that you end up sig-tanking most things with it. The huge armor repair and armor resists are for when you get webbed. I used to run level 4s in mine, and I would normally still have shields when the mission was over.

Also, Cybernetics is a great skill to have. Slave or Halo impants are awesome on this ship.

HAMs and Biology are more for PvP, but they are great.

Wouldn't really want to fly a Legion in PVP, but sometimes PVP comes to you.

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.
