Eve Client disconnecting within a couple of minutes

Prior to my Christmas break Eve worked fine. No problems or issues.

Fast forward 4 days, nothing has changed on my end (aside from the computer being powered down and back up) and now the Eve client acts sluggishly when logging in/selecting character, and then once loaded will disconnect within a matter of minutes. I retain an active connection to the internet at large, so its not a problem with my network.

I haven't seen any other info about this, so I don't know where to go forward from this...
